IF I COULD CHANGE SOMETHING ABOUT ME WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Every human has his or her imperfections such as physical imperfection, emotional imperfection, academic imperfection, trait imperfection, and so on. This gives us a lot to worry about because it makes us different from others but I bring it to you that not all imperfections are bad and some are just a way of proving how special and unique you are and sometimes we need to embrace our imperfections so we can improve them.

As for me, I am emotionally imperfect and I wish I could change that.
As we grow we are taught to always put on a brave face to show that we are not weak but I was unavailable when this lecture was going on. As much as I show how brave and strong I am emotionally I still get manipulated because when it comes to being emotional I can be so vulnerable.

While I was in secondary school I had a best friend whom I could go to any extent but unfortunately, I didn’t know if he could do the same.
We both are of the same age and we do almost every single thing together from playing together to doing assignments together and so on. We were so known for our closeness in school and even at home because we lived close to one another.
It was exam period and we both had prepared so much for the examination or should I say I prepared for both of us.
We were supposed to study together for the exam a day before we wrote it but instead of him joining me he got distracted and didn’t respond to my texts and calls I didn’t care because we’d be sitting together and I was always ready to help.

The day of the exam came and as planned we sat together while the exam was going on I was sharing the answers with him and unfortunately, the invigilators caught us and we were threatened to be punished if we couldn’t pick out who was copying who. To avoid being punished he pointed at me and I was punished for the crime I didn’t commit since then I’ve tried not to let my emotions get me in trouble.

In the tapestry of trouble my emotions have led me into it has also provided and paved the way for many opportunities for me. My kind heart and clear mind made me meet people of like minds who will never deny me in times of trouble and tribulations so therefore I’ve embraced my emotional imperfection.
