Age is just a number…

I was trying to take a nap this afternoon but due to the current temperature rise and lack of electricity I couldn’t achieve that so I tried to distract myself by thinking about some old things I’ve done and I remembered having a crush on one of my neighbor in my formal house, seat well to listen to the full gist.

I moved in with my brother in his apartment in 2021 and he was well known in the house they even call him their uncle so there’s this girl that just came back for the holiday break and that was the very first time I'll be meeting her she was so beautiful and spotless and immediately I started liking her. My brother introduced me to her and vice versa but because of my shyness I always avoided her so I won’t be feeling uncomfortable around her.

I was in the room playing a game and she just barged in without knocking I was about to shout at her but I kept my cool after knowing she was the one, so she greeted and asked for my brother and I told her he just went out that was my first ever conversation with her so I decided to summon the courage to continue the conversation by asking her why she wanted to see my brother and she told me she wanted to borrow some cash from him. she was lamenting and to also get close to her I decided to offer her the money but refused eventually she collected it and I was so happy.

Now whenever we see in the compound we talk about random things and even run some silly errands for her why because I like her but I haven’t even told her yet. So it was on Christmas Day and she came to my room asking me to help her run some errands by taking Christmas food to somebody a guy to be precise I didn’t even mind I took it there so when I came back I asked her jokingly who the person was and she told me it’s a friend.

Finally, I decided to pour my feelings to her and how I’ve been eyeing her after a long expression of my feelings she laughed and said you this small boy, I was shocked but I had to comport myself. After about an hour she came to me and told me not to feel bad about what she said concerning my age then I decided to ask her how old she was and I discovered that she’s 6 years older than me but I don’t mind anyway.

She was keen not to be in a relationship with someone younger than her. I was so sad but then it’s her choice.
