A RECENT PURCHASE THAT MADE ME HAPPY AND THE ONE THAT MADE ME UNHAPPY...
Hey there, purchasing items has been a must and it has been added to our daily activities. Daily, we exchange money for goods to satisfy our wants and needs. Sometimes we are very excited and proud of our decision when it comes to purchasing something while sometimes we regret getting some items probably because it was not useful or they were unable to serve their purpose.
In my case, there were two gadgets I got last year which was very useful but one of them was unable to serve its sole purpose.
Early last year 2023 I purchased a power bank because I’ll be traveling out of the state and I can’t predict how stable their electricity over there will be so I decided to get myself prepared. So I walked to a nearby gadget store and requested a power bank just so you know I had never gotten one before, so he brought one and I asked for the price and he said 20,000 naira I was so surprised because I never knew the item could be so expensive after going back and forth with the price he decided to accept the sum of 10,000 naira from me still expensive though.
With my last experiences with such a gadget, I never expected it to last because my sister had one that didn’t last for long. In my mind, I was thinking I’d just use it for the main time before it got spoilt. To my surprise, I’m still currently using this power bank and it has saved me many times from unstable electricity supply sometimes I don’t even care to plug my phone because I know I have an alternative power supply. I never regretted getting this gadget.
Secondly, I got a new sound system at home because I love to listen to music while working and even when I’m less busy.
It was early in the morning I was listening to music with the old sound system that I have been using for a while suddenly it stopped working well I thought it was down so I decided to leave it till the light was back so when the light is back I plugged it to the socket with the hope of it charging, unfortunately, it was not charging I decided to check what the problem is by myself but I can’t figure so I decided to look for an engineer nearby I couldn’t find.
While walking back home I saw a gadget store and I decided to ask if they could repair it for me but they said that couldn’t while leaving I saw a nice sound system and I just couldn’t take my eyes off it so I asked for the price he said 18,000 naira but he accepted 15,000 naira. When I got home I decided to plug it in before use after like an hour I decided to test my new sound system of course the sound was so cool and way better than the last one after 30 mins it was saying battery low please charge. Was so surprised and I took it back but unfortunately the person who sold it to me was not around, the excitement I had for the product dropped, and I was so unhappy.
I had my experiences and I know what and how to choose better now.
