Last Sunday, I continued my idea of ​​visiting new tourist spots in my city and revisiting some others that I hadn't been to for years. And this time, I went to explore new horizons, almost literally. haha

The chosen location this time was the BR-040 Overlook, located at km-794, about 10km from downtown Juiz de Fora. To get there, we took a city bus, which stops right in front.

Arriving there, we were met with a breathtaking view. I had already been to the Overlook when I was much younger, back in school. It was very exciting to revisit the place and see that the incredibly stunning landscape hasn't changed much.

At the BR-040 Overlook, it's possible to observe various mountains, valleys, and a stream. A place that conveys a lot of peace and tranquility. In the midst of the valleys, there are some buildings, which, to the naked eye, appear tiny due to the immensity of nature. You can get an idea of ​​the typical relief of Minas Gerais.

Recently, a brewery school was also built there, which also has a bar. The place looks very nice, but this time, we didn't go in. We focused only on enjoying the view.

Personally, I love outings like this, just to contemplate the natural beauty of our world.

No último domingo dei continuidade à minha ideia de conhecer novos lugares turísticos da minha cidade e revisitar alguns outros que há anos não ia. E, dessa vez, fui explorar novos horizontes, quase que literalmente. haha

O local escolhido dessa vez foi o Mirante da BR-040, que fica localizado no km-794, mais ou menos 10km do centro de Juiz de Fora. Para chegar até lá, pegamos um ônibus urbano mesmo, que para bem em frente.

Chegando lá, nos deparamos com uma vista de tirar o fôlego. Eu já havia ido no Mirante quando era bem mais nova, na época da escola. Foi muito emocionante revisitar o local e ver que a paisagem absurdamente deslumbrante não mudou muito.

No Mirante da BR-040 é possível observar diversas montanhas, vales e um riacho. Um local que transmite muita paz e tranquilidade. No meio dos vales, existem algumas construções, que, ao olho nu, ficam minúsculas devido à dimensão da natureza. Dá pra ter uma ideia do relevo típico de Minas Gerais.

Por lá, recentemente, também foi construída uma cervejaria escola, que também tem um bar. O local ficou bem bonito mas, dessa vez, não entramos. Nós focamos apenas em curtir o visual mesmo.

Eu, particularmente, adoro passeios assim, apenas para contemplar a beleza natural do nosso mundão.
