Visiting - the Home of LEGO π₯π¨β¬
Hey everyone, back again with another post.
I'm still trying to find the algorithm of #HIVE.
One post can do extremely well & the other can be a complete flop, as I've said before I will grasp it overtime!
Using a website I use for booking flights,
- #SkyScanner
I decided okay, I need a short 3 day holiday that isn't in Ireland or the UK...
First option was a location called Billund
I knew that it was located in Denmark,
but where in Denmark I had no idea...
(Only β¬26 return tickets to Dublin)
But Denmark along with it's northern Scandinavian brothers, tend to be quite expensive... π«°π°
Long story short I booked it and low and behold AFTER I had booked it did I only realize that Billund is the birthplace of LEGO!!!
π©π°π©π°π©π°
Bare in mind I haven't played with Lego in years, but it was a great experience and I really enjoyed it.
(Outside the LEGO House)
- The location itself is very small and is a big location broken up into small towns that seemed to rely on their "Big Town" to do the shopping etc.
- It was very quiet, not a lot of vehicles on the roads unless they were buses, small city styled vehicles or Teslas... π§ Every location we visited whilst there was almost like an eerie ghost town...
Anyone we did encounter would give the small acknowledging nod and that was that.
For some reason though, where our AirBnB was it was very marshy but the houses were nice and it was like being in an episode of
Stranger Things with forests on either sides of the path and for some reason FROGS... THEY WERE EVERYWHERE.
This guy I named Bruce Lee,
and he thought I was there to steal his Frog women.
Now I've never fought with a frog before and I may seem a bit biased here, but I'm sure I'd of taken him in a fight... πΈ
In the center of Billund is the LEGO HOUSE,
It's a center that houses amazing Lego builds and below I will show you a few pictures I'd taken.
On entry, everyone was given a QR scanner to scan so you could receive your own original 5 pieces of Lego.
Beside it was a machine that worked efficiently by itself to create every piece.

I even got to make my own Lego bro & have him featured. #papparazi
As you can imagine, all the different rooms & floors were different colours which was cool.

If you ever get the chance, you should visit.
They have LEGO World too which is a big theme park, but unfortunately it wasn't open when I'd booked the mini holiday away, but it was fun regardless!
They have a big Lego castle you can stay in & if you're lucky enough to catch if during slow season you could get it really cheap! ποΈ
I'll leave you with a few more pictures.
Thanks!

I am a lover of legos and dinosaurs and seeing them together delighted me, beautiful place, I hope to visit one day. Beautiful pictures!
Please avoid posting the same content multiple times as it is considered abuse on Hive.
It was accidental, I couldn't delete prev post because I got another new user reward on it... The images were too big so I tried cropping them down in this one.
I went to edit post but it would not let me update, so I pressed publish instead and it ended up creating a new post...
