Laughing at races and imposing racial stereotypes is racism. Moreover, the author has zero knowledge about the race he decided to mock. I am white from Eastern Europe and have visited many countries where white people live, and I am saying the author knows nothing about white people. A "lumberjack plaid"?? What is this at all? White people love indie music, lol? Most white people even don't know the word "indie music". These are silly stereotypes with no connection to real life.
Racism is disgusting.

Of course! ... if there had actually been any actual "racism" depicted in it lol there was never the insinuation that a race(s) was more superior than the other because white people listen to indie music 😂 just because someone poked fun and you took offense, doesn't make it racist.
Also, the fact you don't know what lumberjack plaid is, should have been your first indication to stay seated rather than "stand up" 😂
It's typical for people to be upset at things they don't understand; explains why you thought the book was racist to begin with 😁
