Tourist Da Nang, Dreamy and Lovely for #Monomad Challenge

Windy ever-summerly city of giant hotels lined up along the sea. With all those romantic names.

They are able to host a myriad of tourists. Happily to us, they are mostly empty.

This vastness of everything, of the beach, hotels, embankments, avenues, and the absence of crowds are integral features of the tourist part of Da Nang.

The resort city has been polished to a shine but it's never full, it's never crowded. Excess space, what a surreal feeling for Asia.

The coconut-tree-lined sea promenade is favored by joggers and bicyclists - for several kilometers, you do not need to cross streets with crazy Vietnamese traffic there. And the traffic in tourist Da Nang is not particularly crazy - there is too much space here. So much that you sometimes wander if this beachfront city, inhabited by Chinese and Korean travelers, is Vietnam at all. *

* You can find "real Vietnam" over the Han river where most of Da Nang is located.

I have never seen crowds of people coming out of these giant hotels. There are more security guards than tourists. The beach is always half empty at best.

Yes, that's rainy October but I visited Da Nang many times, it always looks a low-season resort. Dreamy and lovely.
