wood doll: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday

During our wedding anniversary. I always gave my wife a gift. We had been married for more than ten years and we celebrated among our closest friends. Everyone would bring something to share such as drinks and snacks. My wife and I were in charge of preparing the grill. The last anniversary we were in Spain and I had no idea what to get my wife Marielena. But I knew I had to get her something. She liked to collect objects made of wood, porcelain, glass, marble and any other material she liked.

I went to a collectibles store and found some cute wooden dolls called wooden matryoshka and they symbolize motherhood and fertility. I know my wife would love them. I had them wrapped in a nice wrapping paper and put a nice card on them that said: -I hope you like it. I know you will like this nice gift and I chose it especially for you with all my love.

The day of the anniversary party arrived. We toasted, shared and celebrated among friends and at the end of the evening I took out the gift for my wife and in a small act of love that I dedicated to her I gave it to her. When she uncovered her beautiful gift she was fascinated. And she kept thanking me for what I had chosen as a wedding gift for her. She grabbed a wood doll and pressed it against her chest and told me: "It was the wooden collection I was missing, I am fascinated with the gift. Thank you love I love you. Then my wife took out the gift she gave me a nice blue tie, my favorite color.

Durante nuestro aniversario de bodas. Siempre le regalaba a mi esposa un obsequio. Ya llevábamos mas de diez años de casado y lo celebrábamos entre nuestros amigos mas cercanos. Cada uno traía algo que compartir como las bebidas y pasapalos. Mi esposa y yo nos encargábamos de preparar la parrilla. El ultimo aniversario estábamos en España y no tenia ni la más remota idea de que regalarle a Marielena mi esposa. Pero sé que tenia que obsequiarle algo. A ella le gustaba coleccionar objetos de madera, de porcelana, de cristal, de mármol y de cualquier otro material que le gustará.

Me fui a un negocio de ventas de objetos coleccionables y encontré unas lindas muñecas de madera llamadas matrioska de madera y simbolizan la maternidad y fecundidad. Desde que las vi quedé fascinado con ellas. Sé que a mi esposa le encantaría. Mande a envolverlas con un lindo papel de regalo y le coloque una linda tarjeta que decía: -espero que te guste. Sé que te gustará este lindo obsequio y lo escogí especialmente para ti con todo mi amor.

Llego el día de la fiesta de aniversario. Brindamos, compartimos y celebramos entre amigos y al final de la tarde saqué el obsequio para mi esposa y en un pequeño acto de amor que le dedique se lo entregué. Cuando destapo su bello regalo quedó fascinada. Y no dejo de agradecerme por lo que había escogido como regalo de bodas para ella. Agarro una muñeca de madera la apretó contra su pecho y me dijo:-era la colección de madera que me faltaba estoy fascinada con el obsequio. Gracias amor te amo. Luego mi esposa sacó el obsequio que me entregó una linda corbata de color azul, mi color preferido.
