Dragon Unit is one of the most interesting units in Splinterlands. Choosing this unit could be a tricky thing for your opponent because you will have another opportunity to pick another element you want to partner it up with. Due to that set up of picking this Unit, you automatically have the access to three Units (Dragon Unit, Neutral Unit, and Your chosen Unit). Interesting, right? Also, in Dragon Unit, there is a famous and powerful card that lies on it.
Djinn Chwala is an Epic Monster and has an extraordinary ability. It is dangerous when attacked by melee. Wanna know why? Then, let's discuss its power and ability!
THE POWER OF DJINN CHWALA
Djinn Chwala is an Epic Dragon Monster with Thorns ability and it is part of the Reward Pack. Monsters with Thorns ability reduces the life of their melee attacker by two. It is such a powerful ability for tanks because tank monsters are the first one to receive attacks. Therefore, we do not need to worry about it being the target in the field. This monster must be the target to win the battle. Also, if we look at its defense, we can say that it can really take strong attacks from opponents and still survive. The two melee attacks that this monster has can be not that strong but a pretty good start for a level 1 monster. Despite its positive overall power, the eight (8) mana that this monster needs in order to get summoned is a concern. An eight mana can already be composed of two to three monsters. So before you pick this monster in a low mana fight, make sure that you are confident that this monster can win the fight alone.
LEVEL UP !
The stats and ability presented above are the stats and ability of Djinn Chwala at Level 1. Meaning, this monster can get more powerful if it is leveled up more! Leveling up could be pretty expensive but its effect on Djinn Chwala would be a great thing. Here are the stats and abilities that Djinn Chwala will have once it was leveled up:
As you can see above, Djinn Chwala is getting stronger and stronger as it continues to level up. One of the main reasons for that are the abilities it can obtain.
Enrage ability can be obtained by Djinn Chwala at Level 4. Monster with this kind of ability can have increased melee attack and speed when damaged. It is such a perfect additional ability for Djinn Chwala since its main purpose in the field is to be targeted so that its Thorns ability will manifest as well. Having these two abilities in one monster is a lethal combination.
True Strike ability can be obtained by Djinn Chwala at Level 6. Monster with this kind of ability cannot miss any of its attacks. This is such a great counter ability after having two abilities that let Djinn Chwala to be a target in order to manifest. Also, this ability is a great combination with Enrage ability. With powered up stats, your attack will not be missed.

In Splinterlands, no matter how powerful your monsters are, if you cannot strategize on how to use the monster properly, you will still lose the battle. With that, knowing the techniques and right strategy to maximize the potential of that specific monster is the key to winning the game. With that, here are some of the guide questions that you can use to maximize the power of Djinn Chwala.
WHERE TO PLACE THIS MONSTER?
There are many place for this monster but not all of them are effective for its ability. The suitable place for this monster is the tank position. Tank position monster gets most of the melee attacks and that will be perfect for Thorns ability of Djinn Chwala.WHO IS/ARE THE PERFECT CARD PARTNER OF THIS MONSTER?
Finding the best card partner of each card in the field is such a great technique because they can strengthen each other's ability. For Djinn Chwala, the best summoner you can partner it up with is Camila Sungazer and the best monster is Venari Marksrat.
Camila Sungazer can reduce the melee attacks of your monster's opponent. It is a good strategy to lessen the melee attacks of your opponent so that Djinn Chwala will stay longer in the field. For Venari Marksrat, this monster can increase by one the stats of adjacent monster/s. Increasing the defensive ability of Djinn Chwala is highly recommendable in order for it to stay longer in the field.
- WHAT MORE TO IMPROVE?
The main stats that should be improve for Djinn Chwala is its Shield and Health. Never improve its speed! Shields and Health can make this card survive many more rounds in the battle. Also, it can help maximize the overall power of this card.
CONCLUSION
Djinn Chwala is a powerful Epic Dragon Monster with Thorns ability at Level 1. It is extremely powerful for a Level 1 monster but with proper technique and strategy, it can still be more powerful. There are many ways for it to be powerful. We just need to understand its ability on a deeper level.
