Survival in Russian winter, collect resources, fight bandits and radioactive monsters and other life threats - Day R

This could be another series/blog of a game that I'm starting, not that I've left the Pokémon White and Dofus forgotten in limbo, it's because I'm a little out of time and what I have left I try to participate with Splinterlands content, but soon I'm going to take my vacation and I intend to finish at least one of these series, you can follow the latest post regarding the games here:

Day R

Day R Survival is a game based on the famous computer game DayZ, however in a more strategic way and focused on survival through a catastrophic event that hit Russia and ended up creating radioactive monsters, bandits in search of survival and the division of a country through of colonies, the game is available for free for mobile devices with Android or iOS and runs on more modest devices as it has graphic settings options for general enjoyment.

I was already playing this wonderful game in 2020, however I was away from it for a long time until I decided to download it again and check the situation and I am surprised that the game has grown very pleasantly in terms of mechanics and story, as well as new functions such as pets , new vehicles and weapons besides that now there are events with the weather: summer, autumn, winter and others of the type, this one in question I played a little in the winter and the game is simply a real cold war with bandits attacking your camping while you sleep, the difficulty of getting around in the snow and the lack of food makes you think about every step you take to save from water to medicine.

I was a little lost with so much newness even more in the battle system, which stopped being just some icons while you had a chance depending on your equipment to win or lose, now it's something more flashy RPG board style, I liked it a lot.

My first confrontation was against just a bandit without weapons, that was quite easy and served to learn the new features, I also now have in my possession a wolf that serves as a second attacker in addition to having an unlimited attack different from my weapons that can break with each specific amount of uses, by the way my Beast ended up breaking...

My second battle already had a high difficulty with 3 armed bandits, I had an improvised shotgun, a wooden with nails and a new Beast with poison, a tip is that this is the best weapon in manufacturing cost and benefit at the beginning, already that in addition to the high damage she poisons the enemy and takes away a good amount of life each turn, however her arrow is boring to manufacture since you have to look in forests for snakes and "farm" their poison in a good amount to avoid running out of ammo unexpectedly in a dangerous situation.
I ended up almost dying suffering some injuries that make it very difficult for me to return to my hiding place, (yes after battle you can suffer injuries such as minor: scratches, cuts that decrease your life for a while or a greater degree like breaking a leg or bullet puncture that a and not treated as soon as possible can lead to death).

After a period of traveling from city to city collecting resources I found a traveling salesman, it seems to me that now there is an acceptable currency system between some colonies and refuges, before I remember it was necessary to exchange something the merchant wanted between all the most requested was sugar, salt, gasoline and medicine, a real dog world for survival, I still don't know how to acquire these coins to exchange although I saved a link with the updates but just seeing that I had more than 20 notes I'll leave it for a moment calmer and get to know these new features, for now I just saved their location and I don't know if they stay there just a few days or move around like the bandits in camp, detail that I received a mission from him to look for "Santa Claus" he gave me a location and description to beware that the old man might be heavily armed, a good easter-egg for the winter.

I decided to put PREMIUM to be able to restore some skills to exchange for new ones, some don't make sense at this post update moment like moving faster on foot, most of the time I'm in my classic Var-1978 Blue consuming gasoline that I sell if I would already be rich, and when the situation doesn't allow it, I take my bike or my boat and continue traveling, so this is a lost point among the others useless at the moment, before anyone thinks that PREMIUM is necessary for this I have to say that it is not, but in the free mode you need to watch a lot of ads to collect a reward coin and when you reach the necessary amount exchange it for another skill, and here between us my patience is not that much to watch investment ads or games of casino promising me a new car with minimum bets of a few dollars.
