I'm a Lizard in this open-world fantasy collectible tactical RPG, Botworld Adventure
I recently discovered a game by "lucky" from an ad, and it's kind of surprising how this game available on Google Play and Apple Store isn't as recognized as it should be, it's the game Botworld Adventure created by the Australian team * Featherweight* released on October 13, 2021.
Embark on an RPG adventure in the style of "Pokemon in action", but make no mistake, it has nothing to capture a wide range of monsters to battle for you, I mean the battle system that consists of you going to the monster (being in an grass, terrain or something like that) and then the battle starts where you have to place the monsters and then it's all automatic and you can help the combat through the use of skills, like missile area attacks, heal your robots or something like that.
Character creation is a charm on its own with the possibility of choosing between being a mouse, lizard, buffalo, cat or even a dog and the customization of your clothes, eyes and skin color, in addition to choosing your first companion following the classic of the game cited between 3 different, I initially chose an evasive frog, it attacks from a distance and after the enemy arrives at a certain location it starts to try to distance itself.
In addition to collecting equipment and costumes to make your character more attractive.
Graphics and Sound Quality
The 2D cartoon style mixed with some polygon parts in the scenario makes the setting very attractive, in addition to the beautiful battle effects that are not too flashy nor go unnoticed, all in the right dosage.
Congratulations to the sound part of the team responsible for Sonoplastia, in each environment the background music adapts to the scenario and in battle transition that music that indicates that something epic is about to start.
The animation of everything is very fluid even when selecting the option at 30 FPS (yes, because every game cannot have this option and avoid complaints from unsuspecting that your cell phone is crap) although the game has a performance worthy of my praise having not changed on dropped frames even with all graphics options turned on.
From the information I've received, if you have a Guild system integrated into the game, I don't know how it works and I can't explain it from what I've seen only through videos, but it looks like you can team up with some of your guild members to complete quests and participate in events, I don't know if these events are on specific dates or times or if it's something daily or weekly but what I understand is that there's battle.
I played something around 1 or 2 hours and I had to go to work, and with the time today I was only able to write this post and manage the rents on Splinterlands, but tomorrow I have reserved a moment to better enjoy this magnificent game, saying that for the time I played it and it gave me that feeling, besides not containing those damn power limiters besides the visual pollution of menus.
The battle itself is not something boring and tedious as you might think like that when I mentioned the "automated" it's more like a well programmed Artificial Intelligence, although sometimes my robot just tries to do things that aren't possible for the game's logic and ends up dying almost without nexus, but that was once and I think it's quite rare to happen again, the exploration of the map is quite attractive and although it contains some limitations, not being an "open-map" fully if has a high drive.
Interaction with NPC's is also pleasant without 10 page biblical texts going straight to the point and hard not to involve some quest in this regard, well at least so far.
This seems interesting and made me remember a game called Stray where you are a cat. As interesting as this is, I think I am going to try this one out.
So that must be why in most of the gameplays of this game a cat is created with a robot, thanks for the comment, !PIZZA
You're welcome (^_^)
Looks cool. Made me think og Yooka Laylee for some reason even though it's quite different. Probably because of the color scheme.
Maybe it's the colors or the art itself, I highly recommend trying this game out. Thanks to support my post, !PIZZA
