The best combination: Arcade, Cartoon Art and High Speed, Testing HORIZON CHASE 2
Horizon Chase is nothing like a game based on Top Gear but with the advantage of the side, I had just gotten its first title on Android and until then I didn't know of the existence of this iOS version that received the title of Horizon Chase 2, as I acquired it through Apple Arcade that leaves me a wide variety of games called Plus it is in the store with the name Horizon Chase+ but it is the same game.
I must confess that my experience with mobile games is not one of the best since Real Racing and that I think I only played 3 or 4 titles of this genre, I prefer RPGs, action and something that involves the classic darling Battle Royale but even not being a big fan of titles as I liked a little although I have shitty gameplay (follows the video).
In terms of graphics, the game is simply beautiful, I'm suspicious to comment on this because I always praise this style pulled more towards the cartoon with the 3D, that is clear when done well the effect that tends to pass is surprising and seems to be being adapted by the majority of indie games that intend to release a rewarding game in the art without assembling a team totally for the graphic design and general art of the project, the particle effects are also designed which keeps the proposal present and not as happens in #DRIVE where some effects are fully 3D or programmed which even if it's not the idea seems to be lazy work on the part of the team.
I got a little lost in the gameplay as mentioned I'm not very professional in arcade racing games, and the fact that the game is intense at all times as you have to stay tuned in other cars passing you in addition to the large amounts of curves makes it a unique game besides simply accelerating or activating the nitro those who played GT Racing know what I'm talking about since configuring it well you can until your vehicle stays on the track without moving the control, speaking of the nitro activation I didn't notice a great variety in the maximum speed change x the nitro activation, it's as if you just get an illusory effect of being a little faster although you can see that the scenario is very fast the other cars seem to be following you in speed.
For the little I played the campaign mode there is still a lot to be discovered along with the unlocking of new cars, I didn't have the opportunity to test the multiplayer mode because at the time of my gameplay the server was not responding, but if it is similar to its predecessor Horizon Chase the mode is similar to a Time Trial Online and whoever arrives in the shortest possible time wins, with some in-game purchases but unlike the first part you don't need to buy the separate chapters to advance or the game starts with a demo mode, on the contrary you can enjoy all the benefits without these in-app purchases.
