🌼Crocheting a Ceylon ironwood flower bag 🌼

Welcome back to my new blog. Today is Tuesday, so are you busy? I tried to make a crochet post even though I was busy with an order today. I will tell you about me first. I used to work as a nurse aid, but now I make and sell handmade items. These days I am more focused on crochet. I also make crochet according to the customer's wishes. In the past, I used to get dizzy after finishing a crochet project, but now I don't. Today I will show a picture of one of my customers and tell you about the crochet bag that is coming. Although this bag is not my own design, the crochet pattern is my own pattern.

The design of this bag is very beautiful because of the charm of a simple flower. I decorated one corner of this bag with a white Ceylon ironwood flower. In our country, that flower is called a kangko flower, and that flower is a spring flower. Today I will share how to make a bag decorated with white flowers. I will tell you about the materials I used first.

• Nylon yarn
• cotton yarn
• hook
• maker

I chose the 3mm size hook.

As for the nylon yarn, I chose a color between white and yellow.

Step-1

First I made 9 lines using single crochet.

Step-2

After that, I used double crochet around the shape. In all four corners, I made braid patterns. I used a double pattern for round 1, 2, 3, 4, and the rest I just used a simple pattern. In the same way, do round-20 and finally end with a single crochet pattern.

Step-3

Then I used the excess yarn to make a rope. I measured the length of the rope based on my height. Later I will share how to make a rope using nylon yarn.

Step-4

In step-4, I put the rope that I made in step-3 into the braid pattern of the bag and sewed the 2 ends together. Now we have a simple bag, but it's not done yet.

Step-5

In step-5, I attached a handmade label to one corner of the bag and sewed a button in the middle.

Step-6

In step-6, I sewed the white flowers and 2 leaves together at the bottom of the handmade label. I will explain in detail how to make flowers with that Ceylon ironwood flower later.

I usually gift a white flower hair tie to those who receive the bag. Below are some pictures I took today.
