There is a type of food made this way in my country, Nigeria, it is called Moimoi, its basic ingredient is beans and will be blended with other ingredients before wrapping in leaf. aluminium foil or poured into a plate before cooking.

Another one is Plantain Moimoi natively called "Ukpo Ogede". It is made with overripe plantain, cornmeal (corn starch) and other ingredients but I prefer using fresh corn or dried corn, soaked to be blended with the plantain.

It's a delicious meal.
