The Power of Collaboration: A Hive Journey with Ecency.
I remember the advice my dad gave me when I was a little boy. He said, "In this life, if you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together." Although he attributed it to a principle he adopted, not his own quote, the essence remains. The idea is that when going alone, you can move quickly, driven by your own passion, without waiting for others' views. However, it's crucial to acknowledge that, even in individual pursuits, one can't do everything alone. Everyone needs a helping hand at times, emphasizing the importance of collaboration. The analogy extends to the beginning of life itself, as even the wealthiest person once depended on others for support during infancy. Hence, it's essential to recognize that a solo path to success is not realistic.
Let's apply this concept to Hive, shall we? After putting effort into crafting "Quality Content," it's essential to have people read, upvote, and comment for it to truly impact the Hive ecosystem. Your work won't promote itself. I'm not suggesting "sucking up" yourself to others solely for personal gain; rather, I'm emphasizing the importance of establishing genuine connections with those who appreciate your work. Just as family members attend your events to show support, consider building relationships on Hive where users genuinely value your contributions. Think of it like the support you receive from close friends, who stand by you even when the performance doesn't match the applause. In my opinion, Hive operates similarly—a community where authentic connections make a difference.
What does this mean for you? A crucial factor in your Hive success lies in the strong relationships you build along the way. It's not just about receiving upvotes and comments, although that's very important. To me, it's more about the knowledge you collectively share. As I mentioned in a previous post, within three weeks of joining Ecency waves and interacting with @melinda010100, I have gained more insights into Hive than in my four months of solo exploration, just trying random stuff. Additionally, participating in group discussions on the Ecency Discord page led by @ph1102 has been a privilege. In just two occasions, I've learned extensively about Hive, covering topics from authenticity, anonymity to quality content creation and curation. The show provides a platform for diverse opinions, allowing you to ask questions and gain insights from individuals with years of experience, generously sharing their knowledge for free.
Well, this challenges the premise of my opening statement, suggesting that the knowledge acquired over six years can be shared with you, enabling you to achieve in two years what took them six. Going together allows for both speed and distance.
Certainly, it requires humility and putting aside your ego to embrace diverse perspectives. This aspect is what deter some individuals, yet it's crucial to recognize that this is the cost of success. Success isn't easily obtained; it demands dedication, hard work, humility, and the cultivation of meaningful relationships.
Having said all this, I'd suggest you begin engaging and interacting with others. One of the most beneficial platforms for me, and still proving helpful, is Ecency Waves—a beautifully designed microblogging platform within the Ecency app. It offers easy, seamless, and incredibly interesting interaction, allowing you to connect with numerous cool people worldwide. In just two weeks, I've made over 10 friends through interactions on waves. Imagine what that would be in a year?
I also encourage you to participate in the Ecency Discord page for the Wednesday HHH sessions, where experienced Hivians from diverse backgrounds share insights. Through building relationships and gaining knowledge, you'll become virtually unstoppable.
Now, I can't conclude without acknowledging the game-changer community that has significantly impacted my Hive experience—@ecency. I encourage you to read the proposal linked below and consider voting for it. Your support will enable them to continue developing these unique features and platforms, assisting individuals in their Hive activities.

The collective knowledge in the room today during @ph1102's Live Show was invaluable. I only wish that every single person who is struggling to build their account was listening and typing out their questions in Event chat.
Thank you for seeing the value of what is being offered.

It was a great show and I enjoyed the debate and discussion a lot! It was very busy in the chat too and that was nice to see... People asking questions, sharing views, and working together!!
Thanks for the provided space for the show!
Thank you sir, for taking the time to enlighten all of us. Am not so experienced in Hive, so the knowledge that was shared there was gold to me. Thanks so much
Thank you so much my Hero, for inviting me in there. I owe the knowledge I have received greatly to you.♥️🌊🦸

Wow thank you so much my hero, @melinda010100 , I really really appreciate this
Your father gave you good advice. 🤗🙏
For me, we should learn to approach other Hive users with appropriate comments. But it's also important for someone to have good writing and posting skills so that we, as readers, can leave comments on their posts.
They should ensure that their content is useful, entertaining, or interesting for us to comment on.
Another thing I noticed on Hive is that some comments are short, like 'Thanks for liking my post.' I find these comments lazy and it makes it difficult for me to engage with them since their comments are so short.
This is very true. 🤔You are so on point when you say there is a need for them to have contents interesting enough to engage with. I personally have read some articles I really wanted to comment on, but by the end of the whole thing, I just didn't know what or how to say it. I guess everyone on Hive needs to work on that skill to make this platform engaging as possible. Thanks so much for this awesome comment. I really appreciate it
Sometimes people have a talent for writing and storytelling on social media platforms, but in person, they may be more reserved and not as talkative.
On the other hand, there are those who are skilled at public speaking and can articulate their thoughts well, but struggle when it comes to writing.
I guess, it's important to be interested in the content we're commenting on, especially when it comes to blog posts. If the reader isn't interested in what we're posting, they're likely to skip over the article and look for something that catches their attention. I mean , that what I do. I just scroll away if it's not interesting. 🤭😜
Yep, that's exactly what was discussed at the HHH meeting at the ecency discord page yesterday
Oh, really? I guess we're on the same page. So, what's the conclusion you got from the meeting? I didn't know there was a meeting, otherwise I might have wanted to join and listen in.
Well, am currently working on an entire post talking about all that was discussed, would definitely send you the link right after. In short, it was about Quality Content creation and curation, why some gain upvotes, and a little about downvotes too.
Oh, thats a great read. Do share the link or just tag me.
Or, nevermind!
I put you on my favorite list. Easy! 🤪
I couldn't finish it up yesterday since something came. I will try and finish it today, and I'd gladly with pleasure @ you.
Don't worry, take as much time as you need. There's no need to rush. Prioritize what needs to be settled first.
Aww🥺 thanks honey. ♥️ Nice profile too. What prompted did you use?
Haha. I changed my profile picture because some users thought I was a man and called me 'bro'. 🤭
For my prompt, I just wrote 'mysterious woman wearing a red and green hoodie, with the name Mell popping out, and a blurry background'.🤗
😂 yeah, I wanted to tell you that yesterday 🤭
Haha! Okay.
Maybe it's because the picture showed someone with short hair and wearing a mask. In reality, I do have short hair.
Wow, really, would love to see a pic one day one waves🥳
🤪
I love ecency. Personally, I have always been amazed at the readiness and willingness to help, guide and support by so many lovely people in the ecency discord channel.
For me, ecency is home.
I am grateful for all the support from @melinda010100 and so many others that provided guidance one way or the other.
Very true, I guess am not the only one grateful to @ecency. I wonder how they have been able to build such an awesome haven that really cares for it's users more than the profit they can make. Thanks friend for this awesome comment.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad that you liked the show and that you found value in it! We are a team that could have different opinions, but we all work toward the same goal, to make this network successful!!!
See you in the next show!
I can't wait to be there. Honestly, yesterday I wanted to speak when the HBD's was up🤭, but my network betrayed me🤦. I hope I'd get the chance next week. Thank you so much for putting up this awesome Show thats really helping me.🙏♥️
Sorry for buzzing you @ph1102, I want to know if we are allowed to write a Post about what we learnt during the section
Of course! Why not?
The point is to share useful information... :) So, go for it! Share your point of view, what you found useful, etc
I will create a recap post about the show, but anyone can create their posts, of course...
Oh that's great to hear. Am about to gather my thoughts and make the post. Thank you so much for this opportunity 🙏♥️.
Such a valuable lesson 👍
Thank you my mysterious lady. Would you have time to join in the Wednesday HHH on the ecency page? Would love to see you there
Last week I joined... but missed this time
Oh okay. No worries, I made a mysterious recording of the session and will be doing a post about it later today on what we discussed.
Hehe... oky...thanks 👍
Always welcome ♥️🌊🙏
I also have a question, I'm just curious about it 😜
What is the maximum number of points you have won in spin 😉
45 points each day, but for about 5 days now I have forgotten to spin. Thanks for reminding me. 🏃 Going to spin
After spinning today, I just won 45 again
My highest score is also 45 :-)
But do you get anything less than that sometimes?
Yes! 45 is the highest...many times I get less 😅
Do you do it everyday?
Yes! I love these points 😜
Melinda said, the more you engage through the app, the more the points will rise. Maybe that's why I get 45 always
Ohh...it means 45 is the highest score 😅
😂😂😂you think am the most engaging person.😂😂😂
The highest I see amongst the prices is 250
