The street, the river and people

The day begins with the strength of each person in their own routine, the essence of their work or simply being able to be in that place, this is how I see in these portraits the step by step of these people, who in some cases notice my presence or at no time realized that I have taken a photograph of them, and perhaps at some point they can appreciate this photograph, although it has never happened or for what I know that a person has found a photograph of themselves on the networks that I publish or even if they could appreciate it on Hive.

In any case, they are captures of simple life, of the everyday and circumstantial, it is also a game of contrast with the environment, as is the case of these photographs I like to contrast with the river in the background, that river that in a certain way has a magnetism that makes it possible for me to always be in that place, although I have never bathed in this river, one day I will have the time to take a bath with the sacred waters of the Caroní River.

In this post I show two approaches to photography, from the perspective of black and white with its qualities as always, which is to highlight the tones in the scenes and on the other hand the perspective of color, where I try to exalt those colors and contrasts experienced in the scenes, such as the tones of the river, the colors of human motifs, in short, everything that can surround the environment itself. That is what photography is about, in part, capturing a visual language, giving meaning or simply highlighting the beauty of existing images that you want to freeze in this space of time.

All photographs are my own.
