Camlica Hill & Bosphorus View

Hello to all who love to travel,

Today is a special day for me. Because it's my wife's birthday. I prepared a special day for my wife as she loves to travel as I do. I invite you to this special day.

This is Camlica Hill in Turkey's Istanbul province. It is one of the rare hills where we can see the whole city. In addition, you have the opportunity to enjoy a long sea view opening to the Bosphorus and the Marmara Sea.

Bugün benim için özel bir gün. Çünkü eşimin doğum günü. Eşimde benim gibi gezmeyi çok sevdiği için ona özel bir gün hazırladım. Bu özel güne sizleride davet ediyorum.

Burası Türkiye'nin İstanbul ilindeki Çamlıca Tepesi. Tüm şehri en tepeden görebildiğimiz ender tepelerden birisi. Ayrıca İstanbul Boğazı ve Marmara denizine açılan uzun bir deniz manzarasınıda keyifle izleme fırsatınız oluyor.

Camlica Hill is approximately 270 meters above the sea. The scenery and fresh air here turns everyone's head. We take a short walk on the stony road to reach the hill. The view is on our right, but the real view is soon. We continue our walk patiently.

When we reach the hill, the road splits into two. You can go to the restaurants above on the left side. On the right, it goes to the place where we will see the main view. We go up on the left because we are a little hungry.

Çamlıca Tepesi denizden yaklaşık 270 metre yukarıda. Buradaki manzara ve temiz hava gelen herkesin başını döndürüyor. Tepeye ulaşmak için taşlı yoldan kısa bir yürüyüş yapıyoruz. Manzara sağ tarafımızda kendini gösteriyor fakat asıl manzara birazdan sabırla yürüyüşümüze devam ediyoruz.

Tepeye ulaştığımızda yol ikiye ayrılıyor. Sol taraftan yukarıdaki restoranlara gidiliyor. Sağ taraftan ise asıl manzarayı göreceğimiz yere gidiyor. Biz biraz acıktığımız için soldan yukarı çıkıyoruz.

You can fill your stomach in this place where there are restaurants and cafeterias. If you want, you have the opportunity to relax indoors or outdoors. We sat outside so as not to miss the sunny and fresh air. We ordered 'gozleme' with cheese, which is the traditional dish here. I can say that 'gozleme' is a kind of bread made with phyllo dough. But when it is cooked and oiled, it becomes a different flavor.

Restoran ve Kafeteryaların bulunduğu bu yerde karnınızı doyurabilirsiniz. İsterseniz açık havada isterseniz içeride oturarak dinlenme fırsatınız oluyor. Biz güneşli ve temiz havayı kaçırmamak için dışarıda oturduk. Burada geleneksel yemek olan peynirli 'gözleme' siparişi verdik. 'Gözleme' yufka ile yapılan bir çeşit ekmek diyebilirim. Fakat pişirilmesi ve yağlanması ile ayrı bir lezzetli oluyor.

After our orders came, we sat in a place with a beautiful view. Large pine trees above us shade us. After we ate our dinner in the open air and against the magnificent view, I took the cake I bought for my wife out of my bag. But to my cake surprise, something went wrong. The cake had changed shape from the shaking and the heat. :) That's why I don't share her photos. After making a wish and blowing out the candle, we ate our cake.

Siparişlerimiz geldikten sonra manzarası güzel bir yere oturduk. Üzerimizde büyük çam ağaçları bizlere gölge yapıyor. Açık havada ve muhteşem manzaraya karşı yemeğimizi yedikten sonra eşime aldığım pastayı çantamdan çıkarttım. Fakat pasta süprizimde biraz aksilik çıktı. Pasta sarsıntıdan ve sıcaktan şekil değiştirmişti. :) Onun fotoğraflarını o yüzden paylaşmıyorum. Bir dilek tutup mumu üfledikten sonra pastamızı yedik.

I talked a lot about food on the travel blog. So without further ado, let's continue our tour. I tried to capture the most beautiful photos for you on Çamlıca hill. It was a weekday so there weren't many people. We enjoyed this place more as it was not crowded.

Seyahat bloğunda yemekten çok bahsettim. Bu yüzden fazla uzatmadan gezimize devam edelim. Çamlıca tepesinde sizler için en güzel fotoğrafları yakalamaya çalıştım. Haftaiçi olduğundan çok fazla insan yoktu. Kalabalık olmadığı için buranın tadını daha çok çıkardık.

There is a small balcony on Camlica Hill where you can see the most beautiful view. To show you this magnificent view, my son and I greet you. :) Here you go, enjoy the unique Bosphorus view and Istanbul.

You can watch the bridge crossing the Bosphorus, the ships passing through the sea, the tall buildings in the distance, the sun shining on the sea, the bright blue of the sky, the green of the trees and many other unique beauties from here.

There is also a wide variety of trees and plants on the Camlica hill. The scent of flowers merges with the wind. Even the breath we take while walking gives us peace.

İstanbul Boğazının üzerinden geçen köprüyü, denizden geçen gemileri, uzaklardaki yüksek binaları, güneşin denizi parlatmasını, gökyüzünün parlak mavisini, ağaçların yeşilini ve daha birçok eşsiz güzelliği buradan seyredebilirsiniz.

Çamlıca tepesinde ayrıca çok çeşitli ağaç ve bitkilerde var. Çiçeklerin kokusu rüzgarla birleşiyor. Yürürken aldığımız nefes bile bize huzur veriyor.

I think this hill should be called lovers' hill. Because people find peace here. Everywhere we look rests our eyes. We had a great time here. My wife and son were very happy to come here. I could see it in his eyes. It's time to go now.

Bence bu tepeye aşıklar tepesi denmeliydi. Çünkü insan burada huzur buluyor. Baktığımız her yer gözlerimizi dinlendiriyor. Biz burada çok güzel vakit geçirdik. Eşim ve oğlum buraya geldikleri için çok mutlulardı. Gözlerinden anlayabiliyordum. Artık gitme vakti.
