Camlıca Mosque - Place of Worship of Muslims.

There are many different religions and beliefs in the world. Every person has a creator (God) they believe in. People thank their gods for the good things they have experienced in their lives. In bad situations, they ask for help. Beliefs are therefore very important.

In fact, worship is important for a believer in every part of life. Worship is praying to god for himself or for anything. Worship is done in different ways in different beliefs, but the desired is almost the same.

Dünyada bir çok çeşitli din ve inanış var. Her insanın inandığı bir yaratıcısı(Tanrı) var. İnsanlar hayatlarında yaşadıkları iyi şeyler için tanrılarına teşekkür ederler. Kötü durumlar için ise yardım isterler. İnanışlar bu yüzden oldukça önemlidir.

Aslında yaşamın her yerinde inançlı birisi için ibadet önemlidir. İbadet tanrıya kendisi veya herhangi bir şey için dua etmektir. Farklı inanışlarda farklı şekillerde ibadetler yapılır ama istenen neredeyse aynıdır.

I will talk about a gigantic mosque built about 4 years ago in Istanbul, Turkey. Çamlıca Mosque is a place where Muslims worship and at the same time many tourists visit. Let's visit this mosque with a capacity of 63000 people, 6 minarets and a long courtyard.

Türkiye'nin İstanbul şehrinde yaklaşık 4 yıl önce yapılan devasa büyüklükte bir camiden bahsedeceğim. Çamlıca Cami müslümanların ibadet ettiği ve aynı zamanda bir çok turistin gezdiği bir yerdir. 63000 kişi kapasiteli, 6 minareli ve uzun bir avluya sahip bu camiyi gelin beraber gezelim.

There are entrances to the interior of the mosque and the courtyard of the mosque from many places. After passing a thick door, we come out to a large courtyard covered with marble. We see a fountain inside for ablution. Columns made of marble hold the domes. The main entrance door of the mosque was closed. But the inlaid wooden door made this place beautiful.

Birçok yerinden caminin iç kısmına ve cami avlusuna giriş var. Kalın bir kapıyı geçtikten sonra mermerle kaplanmış geniş bir avluya çıkıyoruz. İçerisinde abdest almak için şadırvan görüyoruz. Mermerden yapılmış sütunlar kubbeleri tutuyor. Caminin ana giriş kapısı kapalıydı. Fakat işlemeli tahta kapı burayı güzelleştiriyordu.

When I entered the interior of the mosque, people were praying. Everything I saw here was made with a really good craftsmanship. Lamps, domes, carpets and many other things I can't count looked very good. In this mosque, which has three floors, they even built an elevator to go to the upper floors.

Caminin iç kısmına girdiğimde insanlar ibadet ediyordu. Burada gördüğüm herşey gerçekten çok iyi bir işçilikle yapılmıştı. Lambalar, kubbeler, halılar ve sayamadığım bir çok şey çok iyi duruyordu. Üç katlı olan bu camide üst katlara çıkmak için asansör bile yapmışlardı.

At the front of the mosque, we see the place where the teacher gave a speech to the congregation and the place where he led the congregation. I took photos to see the interior of the mosque. But the mosque was so big that I couldn't find the opportunity to fit it in a single photo.

Caminin ön tarafında cemaate konuşma yapan hocanın konuşma yaptığı yeri ve yine cemaate öncülük ettiği yeri görüyoruz. Caminin iç kısmını görecek şekilde fotoğraflar çektim. Fakat cami o kadar büyüktüki tek bir fotoğrafa sığdırma imkanı bulamadım.

Various marble motifs and colorful columns caught my attention. The place of worship was very clean and had a pleasant smell inside. Muslims come here five times a day to pray.

Çeşitli mermer motifleri ve rengarenk sütunlar ilgimi çok çekti. İbadet yeri oldukça temizdi ve içeride hoş bir koku vardı. Buraya Müslümanlar günde beş kere gelerek ibadetlerini yapıyorlar.

After walking around the mosque and looking everywhere, I went outside. I managed to fit a photo of this mosque outside in one frame. It was beautiful outside as well as inside. Because this mosque was built on one of the high hills of Istanbul.

Camii içerisinde etrafı gezdikten ve heryeri inceledikten sonra dışarıya çıktım. Dışarıda bu caminin fotoğrafını tek bir kareye sığdırmayı başardım. İçeride olduğu gibi dışarısıda çok güzeldi. Çünkü bu cami İstanbul'un yüksek tepelerinden birisine inşaa edilmişti.

The mosque built on the Camlıca hill provided us with a beautiful view as well as worship. Thanks to this mosque, which can be seen from everywhere, we could see every part of Istanbul.
