What is time?

The measure of progression of events, or is it?

The call to prayer, had started from a nearby mosque, the church bells were ringing too.

He bought, a few candies to munch as he walked towards the grand mosque. It was late evening prayer, the bazaar was unusually quiet. Suddenly, a black flash of something caught his eye. It was a craft, very unusual almost opaque and almost suspended like a lantern. It seemed to be following something, vanishing beyond the sight in a few seconds.

It had been a few years, since the disclosure first happened. There, was a huge uproar in the media, the declassified records told a strange story, one that was quite hard to believe. Somewhere, during the world war, a few german scientists had succeeded in cloning human race, and adding few variations to these clones, thus making them the ultimate war machines. But, things had not gone according to their plan, the human like beings started to split up, and settle there.

They now lived on islands that had been uninhabited, some of them had colonies far exceeding the technology, human race that is homo sapiens were capable of.

More, than once civil unrest had taken place. There, were massive protests from both the sides. But, the council had been effective in maintaining peace.

There was however, a price to pay. The weaker sections of the society, were often preyed upon by powerful men from other side. That is women and kids were carried off, and sold for a price in a bounty program held weekly amongst the island nations. There, were also rumors that they had started to create a new hybrid race, that far exceeded both the races for the purpose of space exploration.

What, lies in the future for humanity?
