Hello friends, I hope you are feeling great. Today I will take you on a journey full of fantasy, excitement and adrenaline, I invite you to explore together the largest theme park in Latin America: BETO CARRERO WORLD.

Here you will find fun for all ages, magnificent shows with well-known characters and for adrenaline lovers, roller coasters and other radical attractions that accelerate the heart, believe me, I lived it in the flesh 😅.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Hoy los llevaré en un viaje lleno de fantasía, emoción y adrenalina, los invito a explorar juntos el mayor parque temático de América Latina: BETO CARRERO WORLD.

Aquí encontrarás diversión para todas las edades, magníficos espectáculos con personajes muy conocidos y para los amantes de la adrenalina, montañas rusas y otras atracciones radicales que aceleran el corazón, créanme, lo viví en carne propia 😅.

Where is it located?

This park is located in Brazil, in the municipality of Penha in the state of Santa Catarina and is also known as the Brazilian Disney World.

¿Dónde se localiza?

Este parque se encuentra en Brasil, en el municipio de Penha del estado de Santa Catarina y es conocido también como el Disney World brasileño.

My tour through the park

First of all I have to say that I had the opportunity to go to this park thanks to my company, since it was a trip for their 18th anniversary. The park is huge and has many attractions and although we stayed there until 6 pm, it is impossible to enjoy everything in one day.

Primeramente tengo que decir que tuve la oportunidad de ir a este parque gracias a mi empresa, ya que fue un viaje por sus 18 años. El parque es inmenso y tiene muchas atracciones y aunque nos quedamos allí hasta las 6 de la tarde, es imposible disfrutar todo en un solo día.

Places and attractions I visited:

• Castle of the Nations/Castillo de las Naciones

When you arrive at the park you quickly enter a world of fantasy, as the entrance is this impressive castle full of colors and in front of it a statue of Beto Carrero, the founder of the park.

Al llegar al parque rápidamente entras en un mundo de fantasía, pues la entrada es este impresionante castillo lleno de colores y al frente una estatua de Beto Carrero, el fundador del parque.

Inside the castle you can buy the tickets, there are also ATMs and souvenir stores and when we left, we started touring the park.

Dentro del castillo puedes comprar las entradas, además hay cajeros automáticos y tiendas de recuerdos y al salir, empezamos a recorrer el parque.

• Romero Britto sculptures

These sculptures were created by artist Romero Britto and can be found adorning the area around the events plaza. I really loved their vibrant colors and beautiful figures. Here are several of them.

Estas esculturas fueron creadas por el artista Romero Britto y se encuentran adornando los alrededores de la plaza de eventos. Realmente adoré sus colores vibrantes y bellas figuras. Aquí les dejo varias de ellas.

• Indigenous village/Aldea indígena

This village follows the theme of the Wild West and you will see several large statues of Indians amd their houses.

Esta aldea sigue la temática del lejano oeste y en ella podrás ver varias estatuas de indios bastante grandes y sus casas.

• Nerf Manía

In this area there is an attraction called Spin Blast, which looks very impressive but I didn't dare to ride as I was going to come out dizzy 😵. It's a giant disc spinning frantically on a wave shaped track, definitely not for me.

There's also a game in which you're going to end up wet, since while you're spinning you can get other players wet with water guns, while people outside can also get you wet. By the way, if you like arcade games here you will find several of them.

En esta área hay una atracción llamada Spin Blast, la cual se ve muy impresionante pero no me atreví a montar ya que iba a salir mareada 😵. Es un disco gigante girando frenéticamente sobre un carril en forma de onda, definitivamente no es para mi.

También hay un juego en el cual vas a acabar mojado, ya que mientras vas girando puedes mojar a los demás jugadores con pistolas de agua, mientras las personas que están afuera también pueden mojarte. Por cierto, si te gustan los juegos arcades aquí encontrarás varios de ellos.

• Star Mountain

We were already in the mood for something radical so we went for the first roller coaster on our way, Star Mountain. It was a long line of 2 hours but it was totally worth it and the fine drizzle didn't stop us. The nerves started to set in once we were already riding and the ride turned us upside down twice, I think my face in the pictures is better than any word 😅.

Ya teníamos ganas de algo radical así que fuimos para la primera montaña rusa en nuestro camino, la Star Mountain. Fue una larga fila de 2 horas pero valió la pena totalmente y la fina llovizna no nos detuvo. Los nervios empezaron a sentirse una vez ya montados y el viaje nos puso dos veces de cabeza, yo creo que mejor que las palabras mi cara en la foto lo dice todo 😅.

• Portal of Darkness/Portal de Oscuridad

I really wanted to enter here, as it was my first time in a teror house. Once inside you were not allowed to record or take pictures, the experience was too much, they really make you feel inside a horror movie. From vampires and zombies to a possessed woman, a butcher and Jason with his electric chainsaw chasing you and everything. It was amazing and scary at the same time.

Tenía muchas ganas de entrar aquí, pues era mi primera vez en una casa del teror. Una vez dentro no se permitía grabar ni tomar fotos, la experiencia fue demasiado, de verdad te hacen sentir dentro de una película de terror. Desde vampiros y zombis hasta una mujer poseída, un carnicero y Jason con su motosierra eléctrica que te persiguen y todo. Fue increíble y a la vez aterrador.

• Fire Whip

This is another roller coaster, but more radical as it is inverted, you go with your feet in the open air. After the thrill of the previous one the truth is that I lost the courage to get on this ride, but I hope to try it on my next visit to the park 😅.

Esta es otra montaña rusa, pero más radical ya que es invertida, vas con los pies al aire libre. Después de la emoción de la anterior la verdad es que perdí el coraje para subirme en esta atracción, pero espero intentarlo en mi próxima visita al parque 😅.
