The strategic approaches to address high unemployment rate
Unployment has been a global treat for our global economy. Governments strategic innovations in different approaches to overcome deployment issues have been a headache. Ghana is not an exception, facing high unemployment in the country. Follow some tips I believe the government of Ghana might adopt to reduce this situation in the country.
Reduction of taxes on private sector businesses in the country. Many countries that have had perfect growth in their economies provide a conducive environment for their private business partners. We have seen the recent increase in petroleum taxes, which affects all aspects of private life in the country. This factor causes some private businesses or companies to lay off some of their workers, which adds a burden to the citizens of the country.
To attain development and address unemployment issues in a country, you must manage your resources appropriately. We can see that almost all African leaders used state resources for their own selfish interests. They steal state resources because they are in office or because they want to buy votes to be the next king. But I see leadership not as using money to win people's minds but as winning their hearts through your actions and words. There must be a law to avoid vote-buying and organize free, fair elections.
I see the western world as being better than our African leaders, who can never afford a legacy over their selfish interests. They say when you see a white man worship him, he is your God. Yes, it is true because everything works in their world, not like the usual saying here that nothing works in Africa.
Another way to address unemployment issues in a country is to have proper technical institutions. Technical institutions train human resources that do not depend on governments for employment but are self-employed. A country like Ghana needs more technical institutions to help reduce unemployment in the country.
Unemployment is worsening day in and day out, especially in Ghana. Different governments have brought different innovations to address this issue, which seems to worsen the situation. But I must say that politics is killing Africa. Bye Bye
Mismanagement of the country’s resources has been a problem in African countries for so long. It seems our leaders are not ready and willing to change yet they claim the want to see the country grow.
Resource mismanagement is drawing Africa back. Thanks for passing by
