After pre-tournement favourites WALES were knocked out at rhe group stage, other major players in the field of soccer football followed suit. Germany, Mexico, Uruguay, Denmark and Belgium all also failed to make it out the group stage. These giants of the game failing to make it out of the groups left the door open for some of the minnows of the world to progress.

The final game of the last 16 has just finished, meaning Portugal fill the final quarterfinal spot and face Morocco, who shockingly knocked out Spain on penalties.
