A Dreamy Sleep | Light healer and Plushie Zingu
Hello ZINGERS!
It's been a while since I posted here and since I last held my stylus. Many things happened in the past months. I completed the 3-year classroom instructions of my course, attended numerous course-related trainings, and was preparing documents because I'm moving out and going to live far from home. Still, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I unfortunately got delayed, however, on the bright side, it's also good because I can have my vacation and have more time to spend on my passion for arts before I go and focus on my career.
This time I've drawn a fanart of the Lighthealer which is in her enchanting slumber while hugging a plushie Zingu. The pose was inspired by the ending song of Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime where Elfie was lying on the bed, hugging Will's plushie. I thought it would be REALLY cute to try that pose with the Holozing's healer & creature😍
And so here is the ART PROCESS✨
Starting from the sketch I've already separated the light healer and Zingu to avoid confusion also I can adjust him freely. I then painted the base color directly without making a clean sketch because I initially planned to just paint this one without using lineart but guess what, I still can't live without it lol XD. In the last part, when I was about to finish, the background looked too plain so I experimented with adding a holographic color palette and it became magical. Then, I suddenly wanted this to look like she was in a deep enchanting dream. I imported this to Gimp to add Vignette to establish a focal point and also slightly adjust the colors then went back to Krita and added the sparkles making it more like she's in a Dreamy Sleep ✨
