2nd February 2023.

The new reward cards have been released two days ago, and with it comes the Martyr ability.

Martyr monsters give adjacent monsters +1 to all stats when it dies.

And I found an opportunity to use it today!

Fungus Flinger

This funky monster allegedly throws fungus at its opponents.

It basically looks like flinging poop from its own body.

Fungus Flinger has very little hp and negligible attack, but the point is to be a martyr and buff the monsters next to it.

And we get to see it in action here!

The Battle

The key ruleset here is Earthquake.

The idea is to let the Earthquake take out my Fungus Flinger and buff my Pelacor Mercenary and Gargoya Devil.

In the actual battle, the Deeplurker attacked my Fungus Flinger instead which was even better.

The problem is that Fungus Flinger gains health when we level it up.

This trick with the Earthquake ruleset may not work if it survives for too long.

Maybe we need to petition for it to stay at 2HP?
