Sneak or no Sneak? Make up your mind Splinterlands! - Splinterlands Tactician #37
27th January 2023.
This is the most confusing ruleset combination that I have seen so far
I'm glad that the new update included the possibility of 3 rulesets per battle.
But what is this combination of rulesets?!?
Conflicting rulesets
Here are the 2 rulesets in question:
Super Sneak
All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability.
Fog of War
Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
So all my melee monsters will gain the sneak ability, and then they will lose their sneak ability?
Huh???
Will my melee monsters have sneak or not?
It's a bit crazy to make a guess here, so I just have to test it out personally.
The Battle
I chose Tenyii Striker, a monster that already has Sneak ability, and a Fiend who does not have Sneak as an innate ability.
From the icons below my monsters, you can see that the Fog of War overrides both Super Sneak and innate Sneak abilities of monsters.
Maybe it's because of the position of the rulesets, where Fog of War is in the 3rd position and it overrides the other rulesets that come before it?
Or does Fog of War always override Sneak abilities no mater what?
Let me know if you guys have any idea how this ruleset stuff works.
You can catch the full battle here!
Always fight, never surrender!
