No cards to play?!? New rulesets and update - Splinterlands Tactician #35
25th January 2023.
A huge gameplay update has hit Splinterlands.
We now have a maximum possible of 3 rulesets in a match at the same time!
It has taken me by surprise, and things got interesting in this battle.
New ruleset - Wands Out
As you can see above, the new icon limits us to using only Magic attack monsters.
Nothing fancy, but when it is combined with Odds One Out...
These are all the options I have after choosing the Dragon Splinter.
I have no cards to play...
The Battle
As it turns out, both my opponent and I are stuck with crappy cards to play.
It's obvious how this battle is going to end.
I looks like in this new meta, we need as many cards as possible to account for nonsense like this.
It feels nonsensical to play with almost no cards, but somehow I have a feeling things will get very interesting soon in the coming months.
Have you encountered something like this before?
