Exploring Castle Žovnek in sLOVEnia

“Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.”
― Thich Nhat Hang

Dear Hiveans,

Hope your having a great weekend!

I've been spending a lot more time out in the woods lately, hanging out there with our mother nature, keeping my mind and eyes focused, practicing being right here - in present moment.

Have been a little bit of traveling, did a lot of walks, conscious full stomach breaths, time to register my car and my moped again, making plans of what I will be doing, working while keeping my mind focused on the goals I set for myself.
Made several goals for this year, nothing that can't be done, mostly surrounded on staying on the right, healthy path to my long term goals to be happy, strong and healthy.

For this year I'm going deeper in myself, while working and improving myself to be better version I was yesterday, reaching at least one mountain higher than 2000m, read at least 3 books, be friendlier, learn to say no and start valuing my own time better.

Last week my mother had an appointment at doctor in our capital city Ljubljana with a nice hour and a half walk around our capital center we went to a shop to get some cold water to drink and something to eat, before heading back to home.
On our way back I asked if she mind's a d tour and go check a castle none of us ever seen or heared about. Of course she was up for it, last time she went on a new castle that was over 20 years ago, when I really was a little young Simba.

After getting a bit lost, ignoring Google maps and taking a lot longer route, after 20min of driving away from the highway we arrived at the parking spot before going on a short hike to the castle Žovnek. It took us a bit over 20minutes to get to the top although my mother was enjoying the views around the forest, seeing many different flowers, tree's and a rare thing called golden rain which is very poisonous and rare to see out on the wild.

As we finally got to the top we got surprised of the quality of the building, it is being freshly restored, still an open active project with renovations, but still it looked amazing, had a stunning view points, awesome spot and rich history.

We were both amazed by the size of it, my mother stayed outside to get some rest as her medicines take her a lot of energy, but still took time to enjoy the view and read some history. I was more of a scout, figured out the also merry people up there, a cool unusual place if you ask me.

On the way down we stopped on a bench, ate a bit, drank some water and I continued down to get the car and drive up a bit higher from parking lot to save my mother few steps as we didn't expect to walk that much. Then we continued our way back to home town.

Awesome, quality time spent with my mother, with great news from the doctors, healthy relationship, fun, positive vibes and a bit of exploring.
I'm really grateful to have such a caring mother, lucky to have her, humble to be able to drive, walk, see and experience present moments like this, that will stay in memory.

Photos were done with my good buddy Samsung Galaxy A52S without without any filters and listening to Nora En Pure - Purified 300 while writing.

Thank you for taking time reading, stopping by, staying positive & I wish you a great weekend!

Me too, got a plan to go explore something old almost 2000 years
Charm is probably why people even get merried here, it's unique because it is not mainstream with very little houses anywhere neare it.

This castle and place is really beautiful. I always like these castles to be one of my photography locations. High stone walls, garden alleys, etc. are all beautiful and eye-catching

Everything that made it magical and almost like out of a movie, there is something special about it, maybe because I didn't expect anything like it, was amazed with every step.

They literally have attempted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem if you run into one of them you may want to immediately shoot them in the face. 187, annihilate, asphyxiate, assassinate, behead, bleed, bludgeon, boil, bomb, bone, burn, bury, butcher, cap, casket, choke, chop, club, crucify, crush, curb, decapitate, decimate, deflesh, demolish, destroy, devein, disembowel, dismember, drown, electrocute, eliminate, end, euthanize, eviscerate, execute, explode, exterminate, extinguish, finish, fry, grind, guillotine, gut, hack, hang, hit, ice, implode, incinerate, kill, liquidate, lynch, massacre, maul, microwave, mutilate, neutralize, obliterate, off, pop, poison, punnish, quarter, ruin, shank, shock, shoot, shred, skin, slay, slaughter, smoke, smother, snipe, snuff, squish, stab, strangle, stone, suffocate, suicide, SWAT, swing, terminate, torture, terrorize, whack, waste, wreck. Next on the list is actually Croatia, Kamenjak to face my fear of height and explore a place where I haven't been yet..
Nice to meet you

Old structures really amazes me specifically the irony of it. How can such low tech era able to construct such sophisticated buildings that can last hundreds of years telling us stories of the past

Indeed, their crafting quality has been superb and hard to understand, most of it can't be replicated, instead using concrete to rebuild structures like castle.
Today's structures that are left abandoned start collapsing in 50-100 years
