Happy Tuesday, my friends and readers. Today was my upper endoscopy. I arrived early, at 8 am, and was released around 10:30 am.

After the procedure, the surgeon visited Jeff and advised my husband that he saw duodenal Inflammation and stomach Inflammation, but no ulcers were present. I sought treatment soon enough. That day I went to the emergency room and set the tests in motion. The HIDA scan showed no gallbladder disease. This endoscopy was scheduled on the day I visited the gastrologist

A few biopsies were sent off to the laboratory to be reviewed; h pylori celiac and scarring. I will hear back in a week or so.

The rest of the day I've sat in my lazy-boy chair reading a new book I downloaded; A Lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers.

The dogs, Inara and Rabbit, happily relaxed with me the whole afternoon. On a work day they typically are crated while I work in my bedroom. Today ends my four days off work.

Jeff made a delicious roast which he shaved thin, purchased horseradish, hard rolls and I cut thinly sliced onions. He made Au Jus gravy to dip it in and the sandwiches were scrumptious! I ate two because they were so delicious. It was overall not a bad day.

Prayers that your test will come back good. Dogs can sleep in some of the weirdest positions, one of the dogs we keep sleeps like this but with her head hanging off of the couch.
