A Real Owner!

It's official, my husband and I are the real owners of this plot of land and rental property! I've rented this land since 2002 when I attended school half time and worked full time. I love the area, but so much has changed since we moved in. When me and the boys first moved in the inground pool was still usable. We would swim every summer evening. My landlady owned a pool robot that ran daily. Through the years the pool degraded and now it's no longer usable. The pool is a frog and mosquito pond. A large pine tree fell into it.

Jeff and I discussed the idea of digging up the pool and repairing it, but I told him we don't have a long enough summer to warrant the added expense of a pool. My aging body will appreciate a hot tub and year around access to it more than a pool.

The comforts of home

We already had our first house related expense two weeks ago when the septic tank backed up into the basement and we needed a truck to come empty our overloaded septic tank's contents. With our first crisis behind us we're well on our way to bigger and better things!
