Hello Hive: An Introduction to Meesha’s World

Hello, Hivers!

My name is Ananya but everyone close to me calls me Meeshu my grandmother gave me this nickname, I am so thrilled to join this vibrant community. I am 21 years old and I hail from the ancient and beautiful city of Varanasi, also known as Kashi, the spiritual heart of India. Varanasi is a city that breathes history, with its intricate lanes, centuries-old temples and the sacred Ganges River, where pilgrims gather to wash away their sins and meditate by its serene banks. It is a place where every corner tells a story, and the air is filled with the chants of prayers and the scent of aromatics.

ACADEMIC JOURNEY

I completed my 12th grade in Varanasi itself and then moved to Chandigarh for higher studies. Currently, I am pursuing a BA Honours in English, delving deep into the world of literature and language.

THE EVOLUTION OF MEESHA : FROM SHY TO VIBRANT

I am as extroverted as one can be. Interestingly, I used to be very shy and quiet, with little confidence in myself and my body until the 10th grade. Suddenly, I transformed, becoming more outgoing and joyful. Whether it was hormones or male attention, I am not sure, but it was a change for the better. However, there’s a downside to being so exuberant, people often assume I don’t have issues and am always happy, but the reality is quite the opposite. I struggle with a lot of anxiety.

PASSIONS AND JOYS

I love cats and have two adorable feline companions who are the loves of my life. Taking care of them brings me immense joy. They add a unique charm to my everyday routine and never fail to brighten my mood.

As an English honours student, I have always been an avid reader, particularly of romantic novels. Losing myself in a good book is one of my greatest pleasures.

I also love to dance, especially with my hoop. Dancing completes me, makes me feel good about myself, and keeps me fit too. It’s my way of expressing emotions and staying active.

Traveling and hiking bring me peace. I enjoy exploring new places, interacting with new people, and experiencing the world’s beauty. This passion for travel will be a major theme in my blogs here.

I am obsessed with The Weeknd and his music. I can’t sleep without listening to music before bed. His songs have a way of touching my soul and helping me unwind after a long day.

MY FEARS AND STRUGGLES

One of my deepest fears is investing my heart in a love that promises eternity, only to endure the searing pain of abandonment. It’s the dread of being left behind, discarded by someone I trusted wholeheartedly. This fear, rooted in the depths of my subconscious, paralyzes me with the thought of shattered illusions and broken trust. Yet, despite its grip, I’m determined to confront it, knowing that only by facing our fears can we emerge stronger and more resilient.

I am also terrified of losing my loved ones, be it family, friends, or my cats. I am highly emotional and it takes me a lot of time to cope with such losses.

Being unsuccessful in life is another fear. I want to succeed not for fame or money, but to make my parents proud, which is my utmost priority.

I know life will always be challenging, and I need to be strong. I hope to overcome my anxiety and high emotional sensitivity before they become major problems in my life.

EMBRACING VULNERABILITY: THE POWER OF SHARING

In sharing my fears and passions with you, dear reader, I invite you to embrace vulnerability alongside me. For it is in our moments of raw honesty that we find connection, understanding, and the courage to face life’s challenges head-on.

Welcome to the Hive community @wanderwithmeesha!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hiveans available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:
