Praise and worship week 34.
I haven't been active on this great platform for a while. But thanks to people constantly mentioning me, I'm feeling that love and appreciation. I'm really grateful for it.
There's nothing better than praising and worshipping God Almighty through song. God has been so good to me, especially during these tough times in Nigeria when things are unbearable. Glory to God for sustaining me and my family.
When I think about how faithful God has been, even when the situation seemed hopeless, it makes me want to sing out in gratitude. Just thanking Him for always providing exactly what we needed, right when we needed it most.
Money has been extremely tight lately, but God made sure we never went hungry. We always had enough food to get by. When the rent was due and I didn't have the full amount, God provided the rest through unexpected means. Little blessings and miracles along the way.
My faith is what kept me going through the darkest days. Knowing that no matter how bad things looked, God was still in control and had a plan for me. I just had to trust in His timing.
Singing worship songs was my lifeline during those moments of despair. As soon as I opened my mouth to praise God's name, I could feel His peace washing over me. The lyrics became prayers from my heart, reminding me of God's power and love.
I didn't have much, but I had everything I truly needed - life, breath in my lungs, a roof over our heads, food to eat. Focusing on those basic provisions helped me appreciate the immense blessings I already had.
Worship reminded me that material things are temporary, but God's love is eternal and unwavering. Yes, money was short, but I had wealth in spiritual abundance - the unshakeable joy that comes from faith.
Now things are finally looking up a bit after that long season of struggle. I have more income sources and can provide better for my family's needs. We're not rich by any means, but we're getting by okay.
And I know those harsh times allowed my faith muscles to grow stronger. My relationship with God deepened as I learned to fully depend on Him daily. The praises I sing now have more meaning after experiencing His faithfulness firsthand.
Worship is a language that transcends all earthly circumstances, whether I'm struggling or experiencing blessings. It's how I communicate with my Heavenly Father - thanking Him, petitioning Him, simply adoring Him.
Whether it's in my car during my commute, at home with my family, or with my church community, singing God's praises is oxygen to my soul. Those melodies of gratitude keep my heart pointed in the right direction.
I'm committed to never forgetting those trying periods and how God brought me through each one. It would be easy to get comfortable and take things for granted during this season of relief. But I must always recall His steadfast love.
So I'll keep on singing, making melodies of thanksgiving. Worshipping God with every breath, because He alone is worthy of endless praise. My life is just a small expression of worship back to my Creator.
Whether in abundance or lack, joy or pain - I will bless the Lord at all times, for His mercies are new every morning. What a privilege it is to sing praises to the God who sustains me!
