Hello everyone and welcome again!

Once again we are here with a battle challenge in Splinterlands, this week has been the turn of a card that I like a lot for the powerful attack it has, which is very versatile for being neutral and thanks to that can be combined with absolutely everything and also, for its ranged attack, it works as support for any alignment no matter what it is. Today we will talk about Gem Meteor.

But before that, I leave here a sample of what were my rewards in my last focus, everything adds up!

With the new inclusion of SPS in the brawls I am excited that soon I will be able to play Splinterlands tournaments!

Now, let's go with the post about Gem Meteor.

• Piercing at lvl 5

How to use Gem Meteor?

This card can not attack in the first position so you have to place it as far as possible from that place, if it is at the end of your team better. This way you will take advantage of its first ability that will attack randomly every turn and as it has a lot of damage, you will make all the cards to reach the first position and therefore, it will be easier for the rest of your team to kill them.

As it has ranged damage it combines excellently with General Sloan and all summoners that boost the ranged attack in some way, and as for the cards, it will always depend on your strategies, as this card fits with whatever. Seriously.

Round 1.

The Close Range ruleset is spectacular to use with General Sloan, this battle is a proof of that, Prismologist could easily be my tank in this battle.

• I use Blinding Reflector as a tank because it has good armor and costs very little mana, so I could set up powerful cards behind it and still be protected in front.

• Dex Paragon for the same reason, it's a damage support that costs very little mana.

• Adelade Britghwing for his ability to repair armor, to support my tank and also do magic damage.

• Djinn Renova for his life bonus, which always goes down well and also has a lot of damage.

• Gem Meteor here for everything I already explained.

• Prismologist at the end for his armor, so it served to protect against attacks with Sneak.

Round 2.

My opponent used the taunt + repair armor strategy which works wonders with this summoner, however ranged damage is a natural counter to magic and by round two his Shieldbearer had no armor available.

Round 3.

His Lone Boatman was being very dangerous, he managed to kill my Dex Paragon and my Reflector also fell, just like his tank and unfortunately without that card my opponent's lineup had no strategy left, while I still had a lot of damage left with improvised tanks like Djinn Renova.

Round 4.

The battle at its peak was beginning to lean to my side, when his Truthspeaker fell the armor bonus was going to disappear and that was going to be vital for my cards to achieve victory.

Round 5.

A 3 vs 3 that looked very exciting, but without a doubt the advantage was mine because of the advantage in attack, while I could do 8+1 damage per turn he could only do 5.

Round 6.

What better way to close this battle if not with the final blow for my Gem Meteor? without a doubt an excellent card.

How was my experience with this card?

This is one of the cards I use the most with Sloan because of the attack bonus, not many people are fans of random damage but I love it because unless there is a card with Triage, the damage these cards do is very dangerous. Also right now you can buy 1 BCX of this card for only 50 cents and its gold version for 4.7$, both very good prices considering it is an epic card and it is so useful in battle.
