[ESP-ENG] Let's talk about Gladius cards!

Hoy voy a traerles un post hablando de las cartas Gladius, que seguro son las cartas mas raras del juego y que son tan emocionantes de jugar en las brawls. ¿Sabes todo sobre ellas? ¿No las conoces ni un poco? nada de eso importa porque en este post te mostrare todo lo que yo se al respecto y podremos aclarar cualquier duda que quede, asi que bienvenidos.

Today I'm going to bring you a post talking about Gladius cards, which for sure are the rarest cards in the game and are so exciting to play in brawls. Do you know everything about them? Don't you know a bit about them? none of that matters because in this post I'll show you everything I know about them and we can clear up any remaining doubts, so welcome.
¿Que son las cartas Gladius?
Esta es una edicion especial de cartas que por ahora solo se pueden utilizar en un tipo de torneo especifico, las Brawls. Estos torneos son competencias entre clanes del juego y que se han vuelto muy importantes ultimamente porque otorgan recompensas en méritos y también en SPS en stake, como las batallas clasificatorias.
¿Que son los meritos?
Es un token del juego que solo se puede usar para comprar packs Gladius y a su vez, estos packs solo pueden ser comprados con meritos (2000 meritos) y en ellos, obviamente, vienen cartas de esta edicion, con el mismo drop de los packs normales, es decir una carta rara o mejor asegurada, etc, etc.
What are Gladius cards?
This is a special and very limited edition of cards that for now can only be used in a specific type of tournaments, called guild Brawls. These tournaments are competitions between clans in the game and have become very important lately because they grant rewards in merits and also in SPS in stake, just like the rewards on your qualifying battles.
What are merits?
It is a token of the game that can only be used to buy Gladius packs and in turn, these Gladius packs can only be purchased with this merits (2000 merits) and in them, obviously, come five cards of this edition, with the same drop of the other regular packs, ie a rare card or better insured, etc, etc...
Como se compone la edicion?
En total hay 32 cartas de esta edicion, una de splinter dragon y otra neutral, las otras 30 se reparten 6 para cada splinter restante. Estas cartas se desglosan en:
7 legendarias.
5 épicas.
10 Raras.
10 comunes.
Seis cartas en total en cada splinter excepto neutral y dragon que tienen solo 1 cada uno.
How is the edition composed?
In total there are 32 cards in this edition, one splinter dragon and one neutral, the other 30 are dealt 6 for each remaining splinter. These cards are broken down into:
7 legendary.
5 epic.
10 Rares.
10 common.
Six cards in total in each splinter except neutral and dragon which have only 1 each.
¿Que las hace especiales?
Principalmente, es la habilidad Bloodlust lo que las hace tan unicas, antes de que apareciera Chaos Legion no existian cartas que tuvieran esta habilidad mas alla de las Gladius, lo que hace Bloodlust es que cada vez que matas a una carta, esa carta aumenta todas sus estadisticas para hacerse mas fuerte, debido a eso podemos ver muchas veces cosas como esta en esas batallas:
What makes them special?
Mainly, it is the Bloodlust ability that makes this Gladius cards so unique on battles, because before Chaos Legion edition appeared there were no cards that had this ability other than Gladius and only 2 cards outside Gladius have it, what Bloodlust does is that every time you kill a card, that card increases all its stats to become stronger, because of that we can see many times things like this in those battles:
No hay carta en el juego que pueda soportar un turno contra una esta Quora, y eso se debe a la activacion en batalla de su habilidad, lo que la hace la habilidad mas peligrosa de todo el juego. Eso hace que estas batallas sean totalmente unicas porque la estrategia se basa en usar el ruleset para mejorar lo mejor posible a tus cartas gladius.
Otra cosa que las hace especiales que estas cartas son soulbound, es decir que no puedes comerciarlas con otros jugadores, solamente puedes quemarlas y obtener DEC en el proceso. Eso si, cada carta tiene su valor de CP y este cuenta para tus ligas clasificatorias, a pesar de que no puedas usar esas cartas alli.
There is no card in the whole game that can withstand even a single turn against this Quora, and that is due to the battle activation of its ability, which makes it the most dangerous ability in the whole game. That makes these battles totally unique because the strategy is based on using the ruleset to improve your gladius as much as possible.
Another thing that makes them special is that these cards are soulbound, meaning that you can't trade them with other players, you can only burn them and get DEC in the process. However, each card has its CP value and this counts for your qualifying leagues, even though you can't use those cards there.
Estas cartas no son fáciles de obtener, todo lo contrario. Hasta hace poco la unica forma de ganar meritos era a traves de las brawls, ahora puedes ganar meritos en tus recompensas diarias, pero las ''pociones'' de esos packs deberas subir el nivel de la tienda de tu clan hasta 8, pero recuerda que el Hall del clan determina el nivel del resto de edificios, asi que el Hall deberá subir a nivel 8 antes de que puedas subir la tienda.
En conclusion, hacer esto no es nada barato. Casi 3 Millones de DEC ( aproximadamente 1700$). Es por eso que las guilds se forman en la colaboracion de varios jugadores que aportan al crecimiento de la misma.
These cards are not easy to obtain and much less to level up, on the contrary. Until recently the only way to earn merits was through the brawls rewards, now you can earn merits in your daily focus rewards, but the boost ''potions'' of those packs you will have to level up your clan store to 8, but remember that the clan hall determines the level of the rest of the buildings, so the hall will have to level up to 8 before you can level up the store.
In conclusion, doing this is not cheap at all. Almost 3 Million DEC (approximately 1700$). That is why guilds are formed in collaboration of several players who contribute to the growth of the guild.
¿La mejor carta del juego?
Yo quiero entrar en este debate y para mi, si lo es. Para mi Quora Towershead es la mejor carta de Splinterlands que existe hasta ahora, su combinacion de Heal + Bloodlust la hacen durar mucho en batalla y como llegue a matar a un enemigo esa batalla esta practicamente ganada. Tiene una vida enorme, ademas en nivel 3 en adelante el veneno y los debuff no le afectan y todo eso sumado a dos tipos distintos de ataque, pero ahi no termina todo. Se puede combinar demasiado bien con la curacion extrema que tiene su splinter para convertirla en una pesadilla terrible, una carta muy fuerte.
Ademas, no estoy 100% segura, pero segun lo que entiendo del juego, a esta carta no se le puede aplicar afliccion gracias a su inmunidad, lo que la hace aun mas imparable.
The best card in the game?
I want to enter this huge debate about is this card is the best card of the whole game and for me, it is. For me Quora Towershead is the best Splinterlands card that exists so far, because its combination of Heal + Bloodlust make it last long in battle and as it gets to kill an enemy that battle is practically won. It has a huge life, also in level 3 onwards the poison and debuffs do not affect it and all this added to two different types of attack, but that's not all. It can combine too well with the extreme healing that has its splinter to turn it into a terrible nightmare, a very strong card on a very strong splinter.
Also, I'm not 100% sure, but according to what I understand about the game, this card can't be afflicted thanks to its immunity, which makes it even more unstoppable.
Lo bueno es que con solo ingresar a un clan y empezar a ser activo en las brawls ya podrás comprar tus packs, por ejemplo en mi clan normalmente ganamos entre 1500 y 2500 meritos cada brawl asi que practicamente estoy comprando un sobre cada vez que juego uno de estos torneos. Hasta ahora estas son las Gladius que tengo en mi poder:
The good thing about this cards is that just by joining a guild and start being active in the brawls battles you can buy your packs, for example in my clan we usually win between 1500 and 2500 merits each brawl so I'm practically buying an envelope every time I play one of these tournaments. So far these are the Gladius I have in my possession:
He obtenido 2 cartas legendarias y que casualidad, ambas han sido la misma carta, Tatiana Blayde, que por ahora es mi favorita.
¿Y tu, ya tienes tus cartas Gladius? ¿Que piensas de estas cartas? Yo creo que tienen un potencial demasiado grande y me muero de ganas por jugar Gladius de alto nivel, con cartas a niveles muy altos, por ahora estoy con todas en niveles de Bronce y con capacidad para competir en Plata. El proximo año seguro que obtendre muchas mas.
I have obtained 2 legendary cards and what a coincidence, both have been the same card, Tatiana Blayde, which for now is my favorite.
And you, do you already have your Gladius cards?, what do you think of these cards on the battles? I think they have too much potential and I can't wait to play this tournaments with high level Gladius, with cards at very high levels, for now I'm with all of them at Bronze levels and with the ability to compete in Silver.
