VSC team is heading to HiveFest
Only 4 days left until HiveFest!
It is almost that time of the year, when many Hive projects and enthusiasts of the Hive blockchain gather to meet and collaborate. Once a year, HiveFest is held in a different country, allowing people from all over the world a chance to attend. Last year, HiveFest was hosted in beautiful Rosarito, Mexico. This year, HiveFest will be hosted in Split, Croatia, we’re excited to see you there. We just wanted to remind everyone that VSC will be presenting and we are extremely excited to showcase some of what we have been building over the past year.
Since HiveFest 2023, VSC has come to life and is under heavy development. In addition, the team has grown into a powerhouse dead set on radically changing the future of Hive. From nothing more than a idea prior to last year’s HiveFest to a fully funded project making Hive stronger with next generation smart contracts. The support we have seen from the community has been overwhelming, and we cannot properly express our gratitude for those who voted for our proposals in the DHF. While we couldn’t demonstrate a live demo last year due to still being heavily under development, we are ready to show you some of our amazing developments this year.
So, what’s new?
We would love to share details of what we will be presenting ahead of time, but we want you to witness it first-hand. There’s something incredibly impactful about experiencing new technology in person, and we want to make sure we don’t ruin that. Developing new software is no easy task, as you can imagine, and we’re constantly working to improve what we have built. We’re confident that we will have an incredible demo to present at HiveFest this year.
We also have a few new team members, super-charging the VSC team with the power it needs to change everything for Hive. Building a project of this caliber is more than just heads-down writing code, of course. This is one of the reasons we decided to start weekly blog posts showing our work, along with educational material related to the blockchain space. We aim to be an educational resource and bring the best-in-class technology of the VSC network to the masses.
While we are preparing for our journey to Croatia and getting ready for our presentation, we encourage you to check out our 2023 Year In Review blog post. You can even watch our presentation from HiveFest in Rosarito, Mexico for a peek into how VSC started.
Our founder @vaultec explains down how VSC works and how we plan to propel Hive into the future with our technology. He breaks down the importance of EVM compatibility when approaching projects outside of Hive, and how exactly each part of VSC functions. In addition, he shared details about some of the things that smart contracts on Hive will enable and how decentralized applications will be able to take advantage of them. We’ll leave the rest for you to watch for yourself.

You are doing some of the most important developments on HIVE. Getting smart contracts ready before the altcoin bull market is a must and VSC could be the killer project to put HIVE back in Top 100 cryptocurrency. I wish you the absolute best and wish you would be able to get more funding and expand your development team. I will be voting for any DHF Proposal that is going to used to fund this project regardless of the asking price.
