Social Media Challenge || Ever-Hungry Skull on EQUALIZER + LOST MAGIC Ruleset

Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

In this post, I again shared my battle using Ever-Hungry Skull but he now has a large Health point because of the EQUALIZER Ruleset.

The ruleset for this battle is HOLY PROTECTION (All monsters in the arena receive an additional DIVINE SHIELD ability), LOST MAGIC (Magic monsters cannot be used in this ruleset), and EQUALIZER (Health of all monsters is equalized with the monster that has the highest Health points)

In the first round, Lira the Dark, Supply Runner, Shadow Snitch, Ever-Hungry Skull, and Ravenhood Warden attacked Diemonshark. Diemonshark tries to counter the attacks from Shadow Snitch and Ever-Hungry Skull by using the RETALIATE ability but the attack misses.

Angelic Mandarin failed to land an attack on Ever-Hungry Skull. Meanwhile, Merdhampir and Carnage Titan managed to damage his ARMOR. Merdhampir cast SNARE which removed the FLYING effect of Ever-Hungry Skull. However, he had to take damage from Ever-Hungry Skull's counterattack that used the RETURN FIRE ability. Meanwhile, Carnage Titan took damage from the THORNS ability possessed by Ever-Hungry Skull.

Because of the AFFLICTION effect that Diemonshark received after receiving an attack from Shadow Snitch made Merdaali Guardian unable to heal the Health points of Diemonshark and could only repair his ARMOR. Dhampir Infiltrator failed to land his 2 attacks on Riftwing and had to take damage through Riftwing's BACKFIRE ability.

In the second round, Diemonshark tried to attack Ever-Hungry Skull but failed and was eventually defeated by Lira the Dark, Supply Runner, and Ever-Hungry Skull. Angelic Mandarin healed Dhampir Infilrator and tried to attack Ever-Hungry Skull but failed.

The first attacks of Carnage Titan and Merdhampir damaged the ARMOR of Ever-Hungry Skull. But each of them had to take damage from THORNS and RETURN FIRE. Shadow Snitch and Ravenhood Warden partially damaged the ARMOR of Carnage Titan but was repaired by Merdaali Guardian. The Infiltrator only managed to land 1 of his 2 attacks on Riftwing and he had to take damage from BACKFIRE.

In the third round, Lira the Dark targeted her attack on The Infiltrator but was healed by Angelic Mandarin. Meanwhile, Ever-Hungry Skull, Supply Runner, Shadow Snitch, and Ravenhood Warden attacked Carnage Titan and gave him AFFLICTION so he could not be healed.

Angelic Mandarin, Merdhampir, and Carnage Titan managed to defeat Ever-Hungry Skull (though they had to take damage from THORNS and RETURN FIRE). However, he was revived using the RESURRECT ability possessed by Astral Entity. The Infiltrator again failed to land its 2 attacks on Riftwing.

In the fourth round, Supply Runner, Ever-Hungry Skull, Shadow Snitch, and Ravenhood Warden attacked Carnage Titan. Meanwhile, Lira the Dark prefers to attack Dhampir Infiltrator. Dhampir Infiltrator this time could deal damage to Riftwing from the 2 attacks aimed at him.

One of the 2 attacks from Carnage Titan and Angelic Mandarin failed to hit Ever-Hungry Skull. Meanwhile, the other attacks from Carnage Titan and Merdhampir managed to hurt him even though they also had to take damage from THORNS and RETURN FIRE.

In the fifth round, Carnage Titan was finally defeated through attacks from Lira the Dark, Supply Runner, Ever-Hungry Skull, and Shadow Snitch. The Merdaali Guardian who was currently in first place also received an attack from Ravenhood Warden.

Dhampir Infiltrator failed to land his 2 attacks and had to take damage from BACKFIRE owned by Riftwing. Meanwhile, Angelic Mandarin and Merdhampir who successfully attacked Ever-Hungry Skull took damage from RETURN FIRE ability.

In the sixth round, Supply Runner, Ever-Hungry Skull, Shadow Snitch, and Ravenhood Warden defeated Merdaali Guardian. Meanwhile, Lira the Dark attacked Dhampir Infiltrator who was currently occupying the first position.

Angelic Mandarin healed Merdhampir but he failed to attack Ever-Hungry Skull. Meanwhile, Merdhampir who managed to injure him again took damage through RETURN FIRE. Dhampir Infiltrator could only land 1 attack on Ever-Hungry Skull. But because of that, he had to lose because he took damage from the THORNS ability that Ever-Hungry Skull had.

In the seventh round, Lira the Dark, Supply Runner, Ever-Hungry Skull, and Shadow Snitch defeated Angelic Mandarin. Meanwhile, Ravenhood Warden attacked Merdhampir. Merdhampir was only defeated in the eighth round through attacks from Lira the Dark, Supply Runner, Ever-Hungry Skull, and Shadow Snitch.

Battle Review

The might of Ever-Hungry Skull in this battle was slightly tainted by the SNARE that Merdhampir gave him. It made several attacks from Carnage Titan hurt and even made him lose once. Even though Diemonshark who had a higher SPEED than him failed to land an attack on Ever-Hungry Skull. Luckily, the Summoner I used was Astral Entity so he could be resurrected using the RESURRECT ability.

I thank Riftwing for reducing the Attack power of my opponent's Ranged monsters and being able to take care of Dhampir Infiltrator by dealing him damage through BACKFIRE when Dhampir Infiltrator fails to attack him. Ravenhood Warden is also quite instrumental in providing additional ARMOR and Attack power to my Melee monsters.
