Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

In this post, I will share my battle against an opponent using the same Summoner as the previous post but with a different strategy.

The ruleset for this battle is FEROCITY (all monsters in the arena receive an additional FURY ability), RISE OF THE COMMONS (In this ruleset, only Common and Rare Cards can be used), and BROKEN ARROWS (Ranged monsters cannot be used in this ruleset)

Again, I encountered an opponent who used Immortalis. Although this time the opponent uses Goblin Psychic (as well as Lurking Puffer) which lowers the Attack power of my magic monsters, I can still rely hopefully on monsters that have Targeting abilities such as Celestial Harpy and Stitch Leech*.

The reason I brought them both is because of the FEROCITY ruleset which will deal double damage to monsters that have the TAUNT ability. So it is less likely for both sides to bring monsters that have the TAUNT ability. And monsters that have abilities like SNEAK , SNIPE , and OPPORTUNITY can freely attack their targets without worrying about being forced to direct attacks at monsters that have the TAUNT ability.

In the first round, Celestial Harpy targeted her attack at Madcap Magus. Stitch Leech instantly defeated Chaos Agent in its first attack. Sunkai Harvester damaged Mycelic Infantry's ARMOR but was repaired by Junker.

Junker along with Mycelic Infantry and Goblin Psychic attempted to attack Pelacor Conjurer but failed. Madcap Magus targeted his attack at Sunkai Harvester and he successfully cast AFFLICTION and damaged ARMOR using the SHATTER ability.

Scavo Technomancer and Venari Spellsmith* cannot deal damage when attacking Mycelic Infantry due to their reduced Attack power and VOID ability.

In the second round, Madcap Magus was defeated by Celestial Harpy, and Stitch Leech now targeted his attack at Goblin Psychic. Sunkai Harvester damaged Mycelic Infantry's ARMOR again but was eventually repaired by Junker.

Scavo Technomancer and Venari Spellsmith still couldn't hurt Mycelic Infantry. Junker and Goblin Pscychic failed to land their attacks on Pelacor Conjurer while Mycelic Infantry managed to hit it.

In the third round, Celestial Harpy and Stitch Leech defeated Goblin Psychic. Sunkai Harvester and Junker damaged and repaired Mycelic Infantry's ARMOR.

Scavo Technomancer and Venari Spellsmith failed to hurt Mycelic Infantry. Junker successfully landed his attack on Pelacor Conjurer while Mycelic Infantry failed to hit him.

It was only in the fifth round that Lurking Puffer was defeated by attacks from Celestial Harpy and Stitch Leech. But before Lurking Puffer was defeated, Venari Spellsmith could not hurt Mycelic Infantry. But after he was defeated, Scavo Technomancer can hurt Mycelic Infantry although the damage is reduced due to the VOID ability.

In the sixth round, Junker managed to reinjure Pelacor Conjurer and repair Mycelic Infantry's ARMOR that was previously damaged by Sunkai Harvester. But in the end, he was defeated by Celestial Harpy and Stitch Leech. Venari Spellsmith and Scavo Technomancer attacked Mycelic Infantry.

The Mycelic Infantry can only be defeated in the seventh round through attacks from all my monsters (Celestial Harpy, Sunkai Harvester, Venari Spellsmith, Stitch Leech, and Scavo Technomancer).

Battle Review

Bringing 2 monsters with targeting abilities (Celestial Harpy and Stitch Leech) turned out to be very useful in this battle. They both defeated the opponent's monsters in the back row one by one. Starting from Goblin Psychic and Lurking Puffer who debuffed my 3 magic monsters, to Junker who was always ready to fix the ARMOR of Mycelic Infantry.

But besides the two of them, other monsters are still worthy. Pelacor Conjurer managed to dodge several attacks launched by the opponent even without the help of healing or repairing ARMOR. But Pelacor Conjurer couldn't do it alone, he was assisted by Scavo Technomancer. Scavo Technomancer gives all opponents a debuff in the form of BLIND which decreases the accuracy of the opponent's attacks. In addition, he also provides a debuff in the form of RUST which reduces 2 ARMOR of all opposing monsters (but only Mycelic Infantry has it this time)
