Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

In this post, I will share an unexpected event when Arkemis the Bear faced off against Agor Longtail. But it's not just about the two of them, there are interventions from other monsters in the battle between them. Curious how it turned out? Let's take a look below.

The ruleset for this battle is SUPER SNEAK (All monsters in arena receive an additional SNEAK ability)

Naga Assassin, Vruz, and Void Dragon attacked Grum Flameblade in the first round. Arkemis the Bear failed to land his attack on Agor Longtail. Chaos Dragon aimed its attack at Venator Kinjo and managed to defeat it, The effect of BLAST ability hit Ferox Defender and Arkemis the Bear which put it in RAGE mode.

Agor Longtail defeated Dumacke Orc with his magic attack then he tried to attack Arkemis the Bear using Melee Attack but missed. Ferox Defender repairs Grum Flameblade's ARMOR then attacks Agor Longtail and destroys all of his remaining ARMOR with the SHATTER ability.

Adelade Brightwing repairs some ARMOR from Agor Longtail and attacks Grum Flameblade. Doctor Blight targeted his attack at Chaos Dragon but Grum Flameblade failed to hurt Vruz.

In the second round, Naga Assassin, Vruz, Void Dragon, and Chaos Dragon returned to attack Grum Flameblade and Ferox Defender took damage via BLAST . Arkemis the Bear again failed to land his attack on Agor Longtail. Meanwhile, Agor Longtail can attack Arkemis the Bear using both Melee and Magic damage types.

Ferox Defender repairs the ARMOR of Grum Flameblade and attacks Agor Longtail and destroys his ARMOR. Adelade Brightwing repairs the ARMOR of Agor Longtail and attacks Grum Flameblade. Grum Flameblade and Doctor Blight failed to land attacks on their respective targets (Vruz and Void Dragon)

Just like the previous round, in this third round Naga Assassin, Vruz, Void Dragon, and Chaos Dragon attempted to defeat Grum Flameblade. Ferox Defender took damage again through the BLAST ability that came from Chaos Dragon's attack. Arkemis the Bear still failed in dealing damage to Agor Longtail. Meanwhile, Agor Longtail this time can only deal damage to Arkemis the Bear through Magic Attack.

Ferox Defender attacks Agor Longtail and repairs the ARMOR of Grum Flameblade. Adelade Brightwing attacks Grum Flameblade and repairs the ARMOR of Agor Longtail. Grum Flameblade still failed to defeat Vruz. Meanwhile, Doctor Blight directed his attack at Naga Assassin this time.

In the fourth round, Naga Assassin, Vruz, and Void Dragon were still attacking Grum Flameblade. Meanwhile, Chaos Dragon now directed its attacks at Arkemis the Bear. That made Doctor Blight take BLAST damage , while Ferox Defender had to lose due to taking the damage.

Not wasting the opportunity, Agor Longtail immediately defeated Arkemis the Bear with Magic Attack. Then he and Adelade Brightwing finally defeated Grum Flameblade, leaving Doctor Blight on the opposing side. Doctor Blight defeated Vruz but was resurrected by Adelade Brightwing. Thanks to defeating Vruz, Void Dragon received an additional 1 point in all his stats.

In the last round, Doctor Blight who had accumulated a lot of Health points from the fallen monsters could only be defeated with attacks from **Naga Assassin, Vruz, Void Dragon, and Chaos Dragon.

Battle Review

There were several unexpected events in this battle, most of which had to do with the opponent's monsters failing to land their attacks on their respective targets. Grum Flameblade failing to hurt Vruz is still fairly reasonable because the speed difference between them is very far, coupled with the BLIND ability of Chaos Dragon makes the attack accuracy of Melee monsters (Grum Flameblade is no exception) reduced. I prepared Vruz in the first position so that he could be defeated and Void Dragon received 2 additional points (with help from Adelade Brightwing). But what happened instead was that Vruz could still survive until Grum Flameblade was defeated.

The opponent didn't expect that I had Agor Longtail, and this caused Dumacke Orc who was prepared to deal with the attacks from Melee monsters (who received the additional SNEAK ability) to lose instantly through the Magic attack launched by Agor Longtail.

Chaos Dragon's unpredictable attack directly targeted Venator Kinjo on the first try and successfully defeated it. That made the debuff (SLOW ability) given by Venator Kinjo disappear immediately and increased the SPEED of all my monsters again.

And the unexpected came from Arkemis the Bear, where he failed to deal damage to Agor Longtail until the end even though he was superior in SPEED and was in RAGE mode. Whereas Ferox Defender who had a lower SPEED than him and Agor Longtail always managed to land his attacks on Agor Longtail.
