BRONZE WINGS (MOTORCYCLE CHALLENGE) / ALAS DE BRONCE (DESAFÍO DE MOTOS) ENG - ESP
Victoria writes to you from a wonderful island in the Caribbean. I just started Hive and today is my 5th day writing in my blog. I am happy to tell you how was the experience of the BRONZE WINGS CHALLENGE BY MOTORCYCLE ON MARGARITA ISLAND.
That challenge consisted of visiting 42 touristic points of the island on the same day by motorcycle (without time requirements, so that each person could enjoy the route and the places to visit to the maximum).
Les escribe Victoria desde una maravillosa Isla en el Caribe. Acabo de iniciar en Hive y hoy es mi 5to día escribiendo en mi blog. Estoy feliz de contarles como fue la experiencia del DESAFÍO ALAS DE BRONCE POR ISLA DE MARGARITA EN MOTO.
Aquel desafío consistió en visitar 42 puntos turísticos de la isla el mismo día en motocicleta (sin exigencia de tiempo, para que cada persona pudiera disfrutar al máximo la ruta y los lugares a visitar).
The day of the challenge we woke up around 4:30 in the morning to organize the suitcase that we were going to carry with the appropriate clothing, protections and food for the stopping times. Then, we set off to the first stopping point, which was a shopping mall near the house. There, some organizers of the event were waiting for us to accompany us on the route, since we are new to the island, we did not know most of the points to be covered.
Doing this route allowed us to get to know the island better and fall in love with it even more. We traveled through most of the municipalities, some of the stops were in:
- Castles
- Churches
- Beaches
- Harbors
- Mountains
- Viewpoints
- Statues, etc.
El día del reto nos levantamos cerca de las 4:30 de la mañana para organizar la maleta que íbamos a llevar con la ropa adecuada, las protecciones y el alimento para los tiempos de paradas. Luego, emprendimos ruta al primer punto de parada que eran un centro comercial cercano a la casa. Ahí nos estaban esperando algunos organizadores del evento para acompañarnos en la ruta, ya que como somos nuevos en la isla, no conocíamos la mayor parte de los puntos a recorrer.
Hacer esta ruta nos permitió conocer más a fondo la isla y enamorarnos aún más de ella. Recorrimos la mayoría de los municipios, algunas de sus paradas fueron en:
- Castillos
- Iglesias
- Playas
- Puertos
- Montañas
- Miradores
- Estatuas, etc.
My favorite tourist spot of the route was: La Sierra (the lungs of the island). La Sierra is a mountain 930 meters above sea level; from its highest point you can see about 95% of the island. This place has a humid climate with abundant fog almost all year round, which reminded me a lot of my country Chile (I have to go back there soon to do the hiking route and reach its highest point).
Mi lugar turístico favorito de la ruta fue: la Sierra (el pulmón de la Isla). La Sierra es una montaña de 930 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar; desde su punto más alto se puede visualizar un 95% de la isla aproximadamente. Este lugar posee un clima húmedo y con abundante neblina durante casi todo el año, lo cual me recordó mucho a mi país Chile (tengo que volver a ese lugar pronto para hacer la ruta de senderismo y llegar a su punto más alto).
After visiting several points along the route we decided to stay for lunch at one of the beaches and spend the rest of the afternoon there to enjoy a nice swim in the sea, since it is one of our favorite plans since we live here.
When we left the beach and resumed our tour, we decided at sunset to go to Puerto del Guamache and see the wonderful sunset that forms there along with mangroves in the area. Finally we finish the tour visiting the only airport that is here to arrive by air.
As a review, it was a spectacular experience that allowed us to get to know different parts of the island that we had not had the opportunity to visit and now we want to continue getting to know and touring each of its beautiful places, on a motorcycle of course.
Ya después de recorrer varios puntos de la ruta decidimos quedarnos a almorzar en una de las playas y ahí pasar el resto de la tarde para disfrutar de un rico baño de mar, ya que es uno de nuestros planes favoritos desde que vivimos acá.
Cuando dejamos la playa y retomamos nuestro recorrido, decidimos a la hora de la tardecer ir hacia el Puerto del Guamache y así ver la puesta de sol maravillosa que se forma ahí junto a manglares de la zona. Finalmente terminamos el recorrido visitando el único aeropuerto que hay aquí para llegar de manera aérea.
Cómo reseña comentar que fue una experiencia espectacular permitió conocer diferentes puntos de la isla que no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de recorrer y que ahorita queremos seguir conociendo y recorriendo cada uno de sus bellos lugares, en motocicleta por supuesto.

Amiga, fíjate que no tenemos como tal o había una pero no está como que activa, pero si puedes hacer lo siguiente:
Para mostrar los lugares, paisajes y sitios históricos de la isla, pinmapple.
Para mostrar reparaciones o mantenimientos a la moto, está hivemotor.
Si quieres hablar del bienestar o los cambios positivos que genera ls moto(o alguna actividad en general) ideal es Holos&Lotus.
Si en tus rodadas vas a algún sitio de comida y haces un Review foodiebehive o hivefood está a la orden.
