Wandering Around Sengkang Square UOB Centre, Singapore

Hello traveler...

Singapore is a very comfortable city and has a very good city layout. Tall buildings, nice weather, clean environment, is a pleasant combination when adventuring. Especially for a new explorer like me. I really like walking in Singapore, no matter how far and how often digital maps make me lost, walking around Singapore is not as tiring as I imagined so far.

Around Sengkang Square UOB Centre

This is my adventure when looking for the whereabouts of the phenomenal Merlion Statue. When I just got out of the nearest MRT station, I ended up around Sengkang Square which is an artistic area. You can find some unique works of art there. In addition, right in front of the entrance to the station there are many workers sitting while doing something with their laptops, it shows that they are workers. Seeing this view, Singapore is a country with busy people but still makes it comfortable and refreshing.

Street Seafood Restaurant

Also, not far from UOB Centre, a shopping mall, you can find a street full of restaurants. Since I saw a lot of seafood dishes, I called it Seafood Street Food. You can enjoy delicious dishes with a view of tall buildings and the Singapore River.

To be honest, this was my first time seeing a big crab. I was so amazed. I wondered, how much does one serving of this crab cost? Is it expensive? It must be expensive. I laughed in my heart, I couldn't afford it yet, so I could only take pictures of it.

This trip was really fun even though I did it alone and got lost. To find a tourist spot, I was indeed misled by my digital maps sometimes, but isn't that the real definition of traveling? As mentioned, Singapore is a small, but fun and comfy country. After coming there, I understand why many Indonesians vacation to Singapore repeatedly. I even think about coming back next year, because there are still many places I haven't explored.
