Lost In Cavenagh Bridge Around Singapore River, Singapore

Hello traveler...

Cavenagh Bridge

This time I will take you for a walk around the Singapore River in Singapore. Actually, my presence at the Singapore River was an accident. My main destination was the phenomenal Merlion statue, but when I arrived at the nearest station, I was misled by the map on my cellphone so I went around in circles. So I got lost in Cavenagh Bridge which bridges the Singapore River.

Even though I got lost, I was lucky because the Cavenagh Bridge area is very beautiful and green. From this bridge, you can see many tall buildings towering. You can also see the calm river flow. Many people pass by around the Singapore River because this area is urban.

Cavenagh Bridge is a national monument built based on the name of the last governor of the British government, Orfeur Cavenagh. Cavenagh Bridge was built as a bridge for pedestrians. One of the things that makes Singapore comfortable for me is the very proper pedestrian with an area that can accommodate dozens of pedestrians, and clean from hawkers and garbage. You can see that on this bridge there is not a single piece of garbage there, even though many people pass by there.

I am very amazed by this bridge because on the left and right there are views of buildings that have aesthetic value, reflecting the British government at that time.

Another interesting thing, in some places on the riverbank there are several statues that seem to show history in real terms. Look at the statues below. Just by looking at them, we feel like we are transported to the time when the incident occurred. I am sure this will arouse the nationalism of Singaporeans who see it. The statues are made so beautifully that they look like real people when you see them from a distance.

Even though I was there by accident, I enjoyed my time watching people passing by. I even saw students there. It was a great place to spend time with friends or family.

Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.

Wow! The bridge is beautiful, and I liked the solid post of that bridge as well as the European style of the lamp post. 😊
