Into The Nature, Kokonut & Curtains by WAKIMUKUDO
Kokonut & Curtains
long as we are in Jakarta we're never going out from South Jakarta, especially far away from Gandaria City Mall, Senayan Park Mall, Gelora Bung Karno Stadion, or Plaza Senayan. Our place to hang out is just around Senayan and Kebayoran Lama which is South Jakarta. Although we have many places on our bucket list, we never realized it because we were coach potatos hahaha...
Okay, I think It is enough to introduce the story of going to Kokonut Curtains by Wakimukudo. Actually, I found out about these place from Google cause interested in white color as their concept. First time, I think it is just a common coffee shop, but it is not just a coffee shop, it is a restaurant also.
- The Entrance
To be honest, Kokonut & Curtains has a confusing entrance. When I take my first step, I think I already arrived, but totally not cause I face a bridge. You know, my feeling when I have been there, I felt like I am on the scene of TV serials, hahaha...
This bridge made by wooden but totally save.
Looks the Christmas tree, it is made by the twigs arranged in such a way as to form a Christmas tree. Look, there is a parcel under it. It feels like homey right? What a brilliant idea!
As I said before that the entrance was confusing, I do not know where is the main etrance. After step the wrong gate, I finally found the right gate. It is the side with curtains. As their name, there a lot of curtains. Here the
This is the front view of Kokonut & Curtains. There is big place with all white furniture, suit for family gathering or group or company gathering. The interesting about this open-room is there is a little lake on the front of this open-room.
I think if you dream about outdoor wedding, I recommended this place for you hahaha...
- Outdoor Area
most of these places are outdoor areas. But interestingly, this area looks like an area on the beach. See how they decorated this ourdoor area. As I said before that if you are dreaming of an outdoor wedding, this place is enough to make it happen.
All white and all furniture and ornaments made by wood and iron things.
- Main Area
This is the ordering section. The place where the barista or waiter takes orders is really simple. The display case at the reception table is quite simple, not very flashy. What's interesting about this area are the typical Indonesian displays such as mini musical instruments and mini Indonesian children's games. These two things make me miss my childhood.
When we arrived, there were only a few waiters there. Maybe because we came early so we were the only customers and made the atmosphere even more sober because it was quiet. However, I want this place to be busy every day.
- Books' Corner
This is my favorite corner, where there are books that we can read. unfortunately, time is quite short to read books there. But having this corner at least proves that the owner or initiator of this place really likes books and likes reading. There is one book that I want to read, namely a book translated by Kim Ji Young. However, I couldn't read it because my friend and I preferred to chat there.
This place is very comfortable as a place to rest for a moment from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Indeed, it is located on the side of the road, in fact we can still see vehicles passing by in front of the lake, but this place is better than any roadside. There is a lot of breeze here so the hot air won't have an effect because the wind is quite cooling.
Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you...

Vivie Hardika
Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of them are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
This seems like a very laid back place to chill! I love the rustic look and the ambiance. Thanks for sharing this Vivie!

hi @janwrites thanks for reading my blog...
Very cool cafe, white feel. The entrance you said was very confusing, I saw it, it did confuse me a bit. because it's far from the bridge to get to the cafe. when you are there why there are no other visitors.
I think It cause still 10 a.m, so there is no other peoples there
My favorite space is the book corner, I would spend entire afternoons enjoying that little piece. The place looks very refreshing, the vegetation helps a lot.
