Changi International Airport, Singapore

Hi Architecture+Design buddies...

How was your day?

By the way, have you ever visiting Changi International Airport, Singapore?

Did you know that Changi International Airport is the most luxurious and most expensive airport in Southeast Asia.

So this is my short story when I went to Japan I booked a ticket by choosing Changi International Airport as a transit airport. It was because I have craving to see the famous Jewel. Moreover, I want to another experience in Singapore, although it just in those Airport.

I was thrilled when I step my foot at the Changi International. To be honest, I have never been Southern Asia besides my country, so this experience was so special. This is the view at the busies airport in the southern Asia. The vibe looks lux because they were provided the smooth and thick carpet on the floor.

When I arrived, the first thing that I have done was purchased a sandwich from those vending machine. Although I get failed in the first try.

So let us looking around the Changi International Airport, Singapore.

Changi International Airport

If you have ever been to Dubai International Airport, I bet you would say that Changi Airport was a little of Dubai Airport because the vibe is similar. I felt it!

It is because Changi Airport has many shops selling branded goods. I still remember, when I through the shops, I can't stop to gape. So shimmering.

As you can see, about the architecture of Changi International Airport has a dynamic concept. They mix Changi Airport as a multifunction place. It was not about airport, it could be a places to stay because there is an hotel there. It could be a place to picnic with family because they have attractive things like Jewel. It could be a place for you to spend your money. What are you need there.

So, it turns out that Changi Airport was not for just foreigners. The local residents are allowed to visit this Airport even though they have no ticket.

Everything looks LUX.

This is my favorite spot. There is a big pool with fishes. As you can see, there is unique aquarium with little golden fishes there. What a beautiful place.

  • Skytrain

To be honest, I have special reason why I chosen transit at Changi International Airport. It cause I want to see the Jewel but unfortunately, I can't see the Jewel because at that time, too late. Jewel was close. Besides, I should to through the Immigration session. It can't be tiring, so I give up about the Jewel.

There is the funny fact when I tried to step up the Skytrain. When I arrived at Terminal 2, that was the last train, so I can not go back to T1, which is I have to walking till the T1. It was tiring time.

Besides, although Singapore was not a Muslim-majority country, Changi Airport provides a place for worship. At first, I was skeptical, but after I went around the airport and found this place, it didn't seem wrong if Changi was the best airport in Southeast Asia.

What do you think?

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of them are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.

This place is really AWESOME, I loved how dynamic the place is. It's true, as you say you can do anything in that place and not just see it as an airport. Hopefully at some point I will have the opportunity to visit it.

Yes I have and several times, in connecting flights to other asia countries like vietnam and phillipines too. Because the airport is really comfortable and entertaining, I happily walked 45 min from T1 to T4 to catch other flight. Also Singapore ,even very small country, it is a world economic hub with a great environment planning too.Can we chat in skype or telegram or fb? what is your skype?

What a magnificent and imposing place! That carpet is so unique, that fish tank was also one of my favorites, you captured great shots of this place that without a doubt is a great experience since it is one of the most crowded in Asia.
