Semerucal Health Center
Space is meaningless without light. A building speaks through the silence of perception orchestrated by light."

Hello community delighted to greet you and be with you again to share with you my creative activity today which consists of some captures of a building 🏛️ that in its beginnings promised great contributions to the economic activity of the city.
This building is located near the historic center of the city or the two most famous avenues that we have, which are called: Bermudez Street and Mariño Street. Being located near the center of the city, this building had a great reception by many merchants who wanted to rent to place commercial establishments.
However, once the work was completed, this facility opened its doors to provide services in the health area. It functioned as an insurance policy for all the officials of the Ministry of the People's Power for Education. It opened its doors very early in the morning and even before dawn because all the personnel of the Ministry of Education could go to take all the laboratory tests (it is worth mentioning that these were very expensive and we did not have enough money to cover those expenses), that is why this place was always full of people.
It was a very busy place because people from far away places of the State also came for a medical consultation.
In this place the personnel could enjoy all the benefits offered by the insurance, this included medical consultation to most specialists, laboratory and odontology exams.
This building has two floors and a first floor, on the second floor were all the medical offices including the laboratory, being in that place and with previous appointment it was a matter of waiting until your turn arrived which was on a first come, first served basis. On the second floor was the administrative area where all the documentation required to enjoy the service was kept, also on the same floor was a rehabilitation area. Something important to highlight is that those who came to the place for the first time were required to go through the general medicine checkup and from there they were transferred to the different specialties.
This building is called Semerucal, it has a single entrance, glass door and main windows of the first and second also made of glass in the shape of squares.
Something that caught my attention of this building which I could visualize is that in the area where the windows are located they placed bricks giving a very beautiful and colonial aspect that in some parts has a rectangle shape.
Another thing I observed is that some windows are square and others in the shape of rectangles for a total of 16 windows in the front of the building from the first to the last.
Semerucal has a wooden roof known as machimbrado in the shape of a triangle, also has stairs fontales and lateral stairs with iron handrails, the internal stairs have a spiral shape but unfortunately I could not photograph because it is closed, ie, at this time what was once of great help to the education sector has closed because of the economic crisis we have today.
Currently in Semerucal we can only find some commercial establishments on the first floor such as delicatessens, liquor stores, hardware stores, among others.
Something that surprised me was a mural on the colonial street or historic center of the city, it is located on a side wall of this building.
An architect is a draftsman of dreams."

I really liked the bricks on the facade. A modern construction and very pleasing to the eye 👌
Cheers
Hello dear, first I want to thank you for the constant support.
Certainly the bricks make this building an excellent view with a country style but very beautiful.
A hug from a distance.
Linda construcción me encantan los ladrillos en las paredes y los techos de madera

Greetings @virgilio07. The bricks and natural color theme on this health center's exterior cladding are surely the stars of the show! At first glance, I had the impression that this building was composed of residential apartments probably due to its distinctive material finishes which gave it a homey and inviting atmosphere. And I guess as a medical institution, it has also achieved its job pretty well. 👍😊
Hello friend @storiesoferne , as a health center provided a good service and the facilities were adequate for this purpose , unfortunately today is not operational and instead there are only commercial establishments.
Have a happy weekend.
Usually I observe the outside of a building more than I do the inside. Because the outside is what a guest sees before entering. If the external appearance is attractive, the person will not hesitate to enter it. The nature of the natural bricks in this building really fascinates me.
