My Jammu and Kashmir journey: Nubra valley ,Hunder
Hello namaste to all hive users who reach my post today.how are you all i hope you all are doing good and enjoying your life with your loved ones.
Jammu and Kashmir is top border of India.By the way, the whole of Jammu and Kashmir is worth visiting. Because there are mountains of snow and many rivers. Almost the area here is surrounded by the Himalayas. But we can visit only a few places here because it is not allowed here because of the border. The Indian Army stays only here for 12 months because it is a border. And some places are opened for tourists in summer.Nubra valley is high altitude cold desert located in hinder village ladhak (india).
This is Diskit Monastery of Nubra Valley. And it is also called Diskit Gompa. It is considered to be the biggest and oldest monastery of Buddhism religion. This monastery is different in itself because it has been built on top of the rocks. And it rests only on the support of stones. It is said that many Siddha monks did their meditation here.
This is a statue of Buddha made here. Those who have folded hands. Seeing them one feels peace.
yeh jo aap cylinder The cylinder shape that you see is the wheel of Buddhism. In which Buddhist mantras are written. It is believed that rotating it once gives the virtue of chanting mantra a thousand times.Whoever comes here must visit it.
This is Nubra river which comes from Siachen Glacier. Siachen Glacier is the highest glacier in India.Nubra river is considered the purest and people worship it.
I feel happy to see the beautiful Nubra river flowing in the middle of the beautiful snowy mountains.Every year a large number of tourists are drawn here for this view. Its water is very clearly visible and even the stones below are visible. There is more water in summer due to the melting of Siachen Glacier.
This is the Camel Safari of Nubra Valley. And this is a very ancient way to visit Nubra Valley.People are very excited to do this. Because if such a ride is found at such a beautiful place, then the fun is different. The Himalaya Camel Ride becomes a memorable experience for the tourist. This camel ride covers places like Yulkam, Tagore, Pinchitmik.Almost the entire Nubra Valley is visible. So hardly anyone would refuse to ride a camel here.
However, I told earlier also that Nubra Valley is a high altitude desert, so it is very difficult to see trees and plants here. And if in such a situation you see greenery anywhere, then everyone will be surprised as it happened to me too. Here I saw lovely flowers.
It is made on a high mountain place for good luck. Stones are placed on top of one and after that wishes are sought for a good journey. This can be seen at many places in Nubra Valley.
At first I thought it was a lake. But when I went near and saw, there was not much water in it and maybe it has become the reason for melting of ice.It looked like a lake from a distance. The image of Snow Mountain was being made in water which was worth seeing.
Finally it is the time of sunset and the sunrays is shining on the top of the Himalayas. It seems as if even the hills have lit a candle.
So this was my experience of visiting Nubra Valley.
Thanks for spending your valuable time here who read my post.meet you in a next post.i hope you all enjoyed it.
