Life after Life..... W20e2
The mystery about life itself; the rich doesn't have it, it belongs to the poor, some give it credit than God, others said if you eat much of it you'll die.... Then I realize that life is nothing
Things I'd go after, after attaining the best things in life.
- Good health
If I had a billion dollars on my bank account and I was suffering from advanced cancer or other terminal sickness, how much value would the money have? Could it buy me health and life? No, it couldn’t. Therefore I value my health and life more than money. When I am healthy, I can make the money.
True love
If I had a billion dollars, but I would be sitting alone knowing that there is no-one who truly and deeply loves me. Would I be happy if I had nobody to share my sorrows and my happiness with, to share my pain and my excitement, my joy and my sadness with? Would I be happy if I had nobody to share my life with? Would I be happy if I wasn’t part of someone’s life? Would I be happy without the feeling of truly loving somebody and being deeply loved in return? No, I wouldn’t. Could money buy me true, unconditional love? No, it couldn’t and therefore I value true, deep, unconditional love more than money.
- Friendship
If I had a billion dollars, but I would be lonely without anybody
source
to share my sorrows with and to rely on. If there was no-one who would be waiting for my visit and enjoy my company. If there was nobody either wanting just to share the moment with me and have a good time,or whom I could help and support, who could rely on me through difficult times and who would say to me ‘Mate, it’s good to have you’? Would I be happy without true friends? No, I wouldn’t be happy without true friends. Could money buy me true friendship? No, it couldn’t and therefore I value true friendship more than money.
- Respect
source
If I had a billion of dollars, but I wouldn’t have compassion and empathy. When the people around me would smile in my face, but criticize and despise me behind my back, would I be happy then? No, I wouldn’t. Can money buy me respect? No, it can’t, and therefore I value respect more than money.
If I had a billion dollars, but I realized that I had never had time for friends and family, for I was always busy doing tasks I actually didn’t enjoy doing just to make money, would I be happy? Can money buy me time? No, it can’t, and therefore I value time more than money. You can be Bill Gate or a poor beggar your day still has only 24 hours.
- Wisdom
When I was a teenager I used to help an elderly lady. My mum was getting upset for (from my mind point of view) the lady didn’t pay me enough. I didn’t care. I thought to myself “With the wisdom she is giving me I will be able to earn 10 or 20 times more money than anybody would pay me here” (and it is what happened). Could the money buy me wisdom? No, it couldn’t. But with the wisdom I can make the money. Therefore I value wisdom more than money.
I could go on and on and on and the list would be very long, for… Money for me has no value.
Money can’t buy me a happy and fulfilled life and therefore it doesn’t have any value to me. And on
