Making a paper rabbit
Yesterday I was opportune to follow a Friend to the primary school he teaches, he teaches the primary 4 students, verbal reasoning, while he was teaching I sat the back of the class next to a little girl, Her name was Sarah, she was so calm and yet shy.
Sarah is also a very intelligent girl, she knows a lot of stuffs, and she is very talented, she loves art, she told me she has a drawing book at home, which she uses to draw her favorite cartoon characters. She told me she also loves painting and making handy crafts with paper mache and clay, she wants to study fine art so she said. Well long story cut short, Sarah thought me how to make a paper rabbit ..
Materials needed
• Paper/cardboard (75 x 75cm)
• Pen or marker
How to make a paper rabbit
• First of all, you fold you 75 x75 cm paper in to a triangle twice as seen in the picture below.
Then fold it into a rectangle twice also, as shown below.
Then fold into two semi rectangles, do this for the both sides.
Fold the edges of both semi rectangles to form a triangle, then turn the triangle to the other side.
Fold both side of triangle to make yet another smaller triangle, flip it down to form a rhombus.
Bend the Apex of the triangle and fold the paper into half, then pull the smaller triangles out
Fold the bottom part in form of a pentagon as shown below, and tuck the angles in one after the other, it should give you a rabbit leg at the end.
Bend the body of the rabbit to look even smaller.
Bend the long ears and the open it up as shown below
Lastly draw the rabbit eyes, using your pen or marker.
Hello @viloma, the rabbit was very cute on you, I'm not good at making figures with that technique, I have to practice.
