River (Poetry)
I just asked for some pieces of incense
You sent square darkness
my morning comes wearing a mask
the dappled sun sits on the mountain
silence echoes from my lips
Flowers with the fragrance of neem on my wish
I had asked for the breeze of peace
You sent the blind man with his hair scattered
I am sitting on the beach watching this
River, how fair are your arms
two boats floating in water
those are your witch eyes
River, I trusted you
You have sent circles of whirlpools
I am a shore surrounded by palms
I have loved you so brokenly
whether there is drought or flood on your lips
I have embraced you with open arms
I had asked for uncontrolled streams
You have sent waves of anger
