First Dragon Fruit Harvest on the balcony of the House

On this occasion I will share some photos of trees that look like cactus trees but have fruit that contains a lot of protein and is very tasty and also has very interesting flowers,

This dragon fruit tree was planted by my father-in-law 1 year ago and planted in a former place that was placed on the roof of the house near the edge of the concrete which eventually produced very large and very abundant fruit.

Last afternoon I tried to go up to the place that was planted from the dragon fruit tree and saw that the fruit was very ripe and there were even some that had started to crack on it due to being too old and also exposed to the sun.

I took a paper bag and plucked all the old dragon fruit using my hands by turning and placing everything I had picked into the red plastic that I had provided.

because I was curious about the fruit which was very large and quite heavy, I then weighed it and it turned out that one dragon fruit weighed 1/2 Kg

after that, I took one of the cracked fruit and then I split it in half and cleaned the part that was no longer good before I cut it into small pieces

I cut into small pieces from this dragon fruit and put it into a rubber plate and enjoyed it directly using a wooden skewer, the taste of this dragon fruit is very delicious, sweet and has a sour taste at the end, making me more addicted to enjoying this fruit, of course the taste will very different from the fruit that we buy at the place where people sell it, sometimes we get something that is not sweet and the skin color is not too red, as for another way of serving, we can also make a fresh drink, namely dragon fruit juice by adding a little sugar and white milk, maybe I will try it next time
