Creativity; Richness of Ideas and originality in thinking 💡 #120

Hey cubs, for this weeks challenge, I would like to give a brief overview with regard to the topic ; Creativity, which is simply the ability to use imagination to produce a novel idea or product.
It can also be seen as the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others.
The term generally refers to a richness of ideas and an originality of thinking.
I do consider myself a creative person, though my creativity manifests in different ways depending on the situation. Personally, creativity is not limited to the arts, but rather, it is a mindset that can be applied to virtually everything we do.
From problem-solving to finding new ways to approach a task or even looking at everyday situations from a different perspective, creativity plays a role in many aspects of life.
I learnt this at an early age from my Mother who is a retired Artist and is currently a lecturer and an Architect even though she wanted to be a doctor.

From my Point of view,, creativity is a fundamental aspect of human nature, and it is not limited to those who create visual art, music, or literature. It extends into the fields of science and technology, business, education and even personal relationships or events that stems from our everyday life. And I can proudly agree to this statement as I have witnessed proof-first-hand of originality of ideas come handy in different situations regardless of the occupation of the individual. For instance, scientists use creativity to generate innovative thinking to make new discoveries and solve complex issues, while entrepreneurs apply creative strategies to develop new products, and out-of-the-box thinking which can lead to successful business ventures. In personal relationships, creativity can help us find better ways to communicate and connect with others.

Maintaining creativity can be challenging, especially when routines become fixed or external pressures weigh heavily. However, I believe there are several ways to keep the creative flow alive. For me, staying curious and open-minded is essential.
As being creative involves being able to view things in new ways or from a different perspective.
I regularly expose myself to new ideas, whether through reading, traveling, or engaging with different people and cultures.
I also try to create new opportunities or new alternatives as research has shown that its not always the amount of the alternatives but the uniqueness of it.
Furthermore, I embrace failure and see it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Sometimes, stepping away from a problem and giving myself space to think, or engaging in an activity like self-reflection or exercise, helps recharge my creativity.
In essence , creativity is an important tool that surpasses the boundaries of art and is applicable in all facets of life. Whether in our personal or professional lives, creativity allows us to approach challenges with fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
