PhotoFeed Contest - Portrait Photography Round 80 - my beautiful strangers (ii).

I remembered these portraits after watching a film yesterday. The screening was a part of my weekly watching some old or new movie. This time it was the "7 boxes" (originally - "7 Cajas") - a Paraguayan thriller film from 2011, directed by Juan Carlos Maneglia and Tana Schémbori. Both directors are widely know not only in Paraguay due to their tandem directing of many other Art works. By IMDb rating "7 Boxes" took 7.1.

If you loved "Uncut Gems" by Benny Safdie and Josh Safdie with Adam Sandler, or "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" by Guy Ritchie, probably you will like this movie as well. I can't compare both my samples created by the crazy known directors and much more expensive shooting with the Paraguayan made movie, but i hardly recommend you to try the "7 Boxes".

For the filming of the movie the director's used first of all film cameras and not a digital stuff, and for the amazing effect of POV, their lenses were very wide angle and high in aperture. This high aperture of their lenses created an amazing "BOKEH" in many photographic and cinematheque scenes.

So, this high aperture and the character isolation remind me the portraits of the strangers, photographed by me during a decade+.

Also... one of the most important details of this series - all these were photographed in color. I mean, photographed to stay in color by design. Doesn't happen to me too often :-))) I asked every one of them about this portrait and each of them happily expressed his consent.
